On that page the login module is in a div that's align=center.
(I recommend using Firefox and the Firebug add-on to easily identify this kind of stuff.
On my tiki-login_scr.php - viewed in DW I can see no reference to a div
2 other smarty scripts seem to be called - tiki-login.tpl and tiki.tpl. Would these affect the alignment?
It depends where the login box is going to be. tiki.tpl loads the whole page. I'm not sure where tiki-login.tpl is used exactly, without looking. .tpl files are more templates than scripts.

So on my Wiki homepage I have some HTML snippets for off site badge graphics/links.....promo for software or services I like mostly. Does it make sense that when I turn off Image Gallery that all these graphics no longer load? An straight image tag for an image host on the same server (not withint Tiki tho) doesn't seem affected. Is this normal or weird? If normal can someone explain to me?
on the wiki page, you have something like: {img src=http://foo link=http://foo ..} and it isnt' working?
An example snippet that stops working:

the "show_image.php?id=xxx indicates that ur linking to an image in tiki's gallery

I only use the normal editor, too. But when I tried to upload an image from my local drive, I was directed to a gallery. I guess there was a preference switch made without knowing?

I did have that on to test it a long time back, but I turned it off almost immediately cuz it was very buggy...

Ah, ok, "add another image" in my latest svn update works ok (adds another form input). In the previous file version, clicking "add another image" opened the list-galleries page. :-)

I can add a template to a wiki page. lost edit protection is not invoked (as should be the case)
although i see a (possible bug)... apply a template to a wiki page. tiki shows the preview but does *not* include the content tempate field in the edit area. click preview again and the field is back. is this by design?
hmmm, lost edit protection doesn't happen on my computer (Win), but I saw yesterday on a Mac (Was old 1.10 though...)

Ok...there's no way I put these in the Image Gallery...one of the images is actually a composite and every piece is in there. No way on earth - not even on the best drugs - that I did that and don't remember! :)
(Referring to the System gallery under Image Galleries, btw)

The "Use file galleries..." feature is turned off and at least one of these badges is recent, so it's still doing whatever it is that's sucking these images into the system gallery....

chiba, it would do this to the extent of excising and replacing the original image URL? I was looking through for an option to disable this...any idea if this is possible? It's a nice option, but sometime/most times I'd like to leave the link pointing to the external image.

Does the shoutbox in 1.9.11 support wiki markup? It looks like the answer is no, but I just want to be sure.
Next and final question for now... why do links posted to the shoutbox sometimes display as the full domain like "www.sourceforge.net" and then other times as "[Link]". Is this to do with length of the URL, whether you include "http://" or something else?
I think I just answered my own question (the second question that is)
the "[Link]" occurs when the URL contains a filename as in "www.sourceforge.net/index.html"
Think I'll go update the documentation.

When using the Staging & Approval feature: Is it possible to have the staging page (*MyPage) replace the old page (MyPage)? Or does there have to be two copies?

perms are very tricky...
icltlfatppl: A tikiwiki has no tree structure. You can define one with a 'structure'. The Category and Directory tools also tend to build trees but form crossconnections.
SEWilco: I think icltlfatppl used the term "structure" in a different context. To me the best "site map" that I know of is the default phplayers menu... covers just about everything a user could want to see on the site. I assume there is a way you could lay this out in flat form as a wiki page, that would probably be the easiest way.
Beyond that, the site could potentially be way too large to have a true site map.
Darkbee: Any site with many pages would have a large site map. It might depend whether person wants a human tool or a map such as the one for Googlebots to crawl.
Crawlability is one reason I implemented SEF URLs for 1.9.11, so bots can crawl my Categories and find all the pages.
Hmm.. I should make sure the Wiki list of all pages also emits SEFURLs so that is also crawlable.
Eew. Yup, the Wiki "List pages" does emit unfriendly URLs. I don't think a dev has reviewed may patch; maybe I'll have a new version in a couple of weeks.

Hmm. My altered 1.9.11 is emitting wiki page names with spaces, not "+", in both "List pages" and "Last changes".
tw.o "List pages" is emitting names with "+", but that's probably 2.0.
tw.o "Last Changes" is emitting URLs with spaces. "CMS Landscape" instead of "CMS+Landscape".
That's interesting. The 2.0 .htaccess must be different, as a URL with spaces works.

Hi, does anyone know if it is possible to apply group permissions to Wiki pages programmatically in TikiWiki, similar to ACL directives used in MoinMoin?
reason i ask is that i have 15,000 Wiki pages that I need to assign permissions to, so obviously manually would NOT be the best route

Just out of curiosity, does the upgrade script for 2.0 also go through and remove old files that aren't being used? I'm upgrading from 1.9 and basically overlaid 2.0 distro on top of it. Would like some way of deleting all the chaffe that isn't being used anymore
