Files in this commit MUST accompany those in my initial commit for this new feature in the tracker_item_field_input.tpl log. This commit allows for variations of blank fields and editing of those fields. Without this the feature doesn't work.

chibaguy: tw.o needs an update. Commas are being stripped out.
Interestingly, in a post preview, "style" is rendered normally but in the refreshed textarea it's "st<x>yle".
kerrnel: I think it's with 2.0
I posted a bug in the tracker for dev.tw.o with the same problem
chibaguy: hi kerrnel, yes, but I thought the most recent files fixed that.
kerrnel: dunno. maybe they have but they haven't been pushed to *.tw.o yet
Not even sure if its a problem with RC4 or with trunk
chibaguy: Seems to be fixed in rc4.
(or maybe after rc4, in current svn latest files.)

did anyone checkout profiles yet?

It worked smoothly. Installed the bug tracker.
marclaporte: yay!
Do you see the possibilites I see?
chibaguy: I think the feature name isn't too clear. It reminds me of the install profiles -- slashdot, etc.
marclaporte: this is like version 2 of that
chibaguy: I see.
marclaporte: but useable not just on install
but anytime
chibaguy: Can it replace admin mods, etc.?
marclaporte: some I think
chibaguy: It seems to be the same kind of tool.
marclaporte: yes & no
mods modifies the code of your TikiWiki
profiles are just configuration
But since you can do a lot with trackers, we can release small apps anytime
chibaguy: oh, no new files, just db content.
marclaporte: voilą
but if we had css override...
like this: http://dev.tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=1320
we could use profile to distribute theme adjustments
chibaguy: As long as there is logic to apply the override for the appropriate theme.
"if codex.css, apply codex-override.css" sort of thing
I see how distributing theme adjustments would be useful, but there could be a problem if the adustment is outdated by the next actual release.
Also maybe a site wants a local theme style override. Will a general theme adjustment overwrite this, or add to it?
-- Implementation details....
...but a cool function, one way or the other.

Or did I dream that? I can't find the info at doc.tw.o.
How is an existing page indicated as a translation for another page? The "translate" link seems to be to make a new page ??
Interface on tiki-edit_translation.php is very confusing IMHO.
As long as I'm asking/ranting, is it just me or is adding an image to a wiki page broken in 2.0?
There is an "add another image" button (even for first image?) that I click and go to files directory in a popup window. I navigate and select an image. Firefox wants to download it. Nothing happens on the wiki editpage.
This is with current 2.0svn.
Turning off "use file galleries for image inclusion" enables the upload-from-disk interface. But does file gallery image inclusion work?

chibaguy: Is there a tracker wikiplugin that could be used to show the thumbs in one wiki page?

nickelodeon: sylvieg - also, i was unable to find the "remove_page" function you had recommended adding to the batch_load_pages script, but did find a s_remove_page function in libstructuresstructlib.php...however, this refers to structlib, and not tiki...
sylvieg: i sent a message to nyloth it is not the correct way to add a confirmation step...
try this one $tikilib->remove_all_versions
nickelodeon: for which, the batch_load_pages script?
sylvieg: batch
nickelodeon: sylvieg: Merci bien!! that worked like a charm
so then the bulk page removal from the UI will involve a code fix?
sylvieg: it is a bug fix or a config of the ticket/confirm system
-: sylvieg leaving for 10 days of vacation on Friday - and ahve too much work
