pujib, as far as I know, the blog feature has mostly been ignored for quite a long time. Maybe there are functional problems.
About legacy theme support (15:14 ~~ ) if people really want to continue having the old look, etc., one way to manage it is to make a new small stylesheet for the legacy theme and have it import tikinewt.css, then just ad the styling for distinctive legacy features like coloring and font size.

pujib, post-level comments are comments regarding a particular blog post (and the link is at each post header bottom and on tiki-view_blog_post.php). blog-level comments are regarding the whole blog and the link is at the bottom of the blog page (tiki-view_blog.php)

Q:  Why would my "Since Your Last Visit" module be generating errors related to JS being inhibited?   I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the link that I added from that module to a "Last Site Changes" page...

i'm trying to install tiki, but just after i specify 'create a new database' with 'default install profile' -- it says 'security alert' and asks for my db user/password again on a very unstyled-page -- and goes in an infinite loop from the install to security alert page.... what gives?

Hi all. I have just upgraded to Tiki 2.0. After upgrading to Tiki 2.0 I am not able to edit my wikipages. After clicking on edit icon I see only the error message: "HTTP 404 The webpage cannot be found". I am even not able to create new wikipages. It seems, all other parts (file gallery, articles ...) work fine.
Anyone had similar problems or have an advice?

hi - veeery strange problem - i have set the css to default2-nikhilodeon and restricted users from changing their theme...in IE 7, the style sheet pulls up fine...in FF 3.0 (my browser of choice USUALLY) the Wiki keeps reverting to bluegreen.css - anyone seen anything goofy like that?
i have already tried clearing the sys cache from the admin panel, and have cleared my temp files...

It sounds like a bug...the schema of your database must be wrong if it's saying the error is "unknown column".   But the wiki is otherwise up?  Is this a transition from an older version of the tiki or somthing?

My guess is that you need to run some upgrade script to fix up the database so the new code can use it.
But I don't know any particulars.  I am a newbie here myself.

Maybe the upgrade script didn't run properly due to some other problem.
I would look at the results from it to make sure it finished without any errors.
And of course I would doublecheck that it was the right version of the script.

agentile: That user creation bug is known.  There is a column missing in the users_users table.
agentile: I just encountered being unable to create a user; I was setting up my site in 1.9.11 so only had 'admin' before 2.0 conversion.
