I like the pseudo freelikegnu . I went to a little conference this evening .... one point was opensource is good because free - but even better because people can contribute back Is there a way to change a large amount of peoples permissions easily at once? I created a new group, and have to add about 100 people to it. Is there an easy implementation to do this or should I do it one by one? you have a checkbox - and assign to group in admin_users oh nice, missed that option at the bottom of the page. Thanks in 2.2, slideshow is not optional I believe it was not optional before (1.9.x) either http://dev.tikiwiki.org/wish2165 -> SlideShow in File Gallery should be optional. Changed a couple of divs to spans. Added CSS defs to improve layout (in tikineat.css only so far) SEWilco2: ? luciash: I got diverted by an email configuration issue. I'll have to tinker with Anon later. ... and now my .htaccess failed. Huh. Oh, wonderful. I renamed my HomePage to the domain name and the period in ".org" doesn't fit the .htaccess rule. OK, rule editing time. Ick. The .htaccess rule for Wiki page names specifically excludes periods. Any idea why periods are disliked? Well, I don't know why .htaccess doesn't like a dot in the name of a Wiki page. I worked around it for my homepage by adding a rule for that specific page. dev.tw.o is timing out dev.tw.o now talking to me again. hi all - seem to have a bug in trunk - anonymous users cannot tiki_p_view_categorized - is that just me? jonnyb: : nice to see you committing will see you in a few days? thanks - it's hard to get the time to tiki properly yes lets - i haven't checked that page i made recently... no one else seems to have spotted it (http://tikiwiki.org/TikiFestMiniNov08) jonnyb: I did a page assign to a categ (p_view_categorized for anonynmous). Anomymous can see the apge anyway - about this perms thing... (hi Sylvie) - it seems to be because $userslib->get_permissions() won't let you be permitted to do anything if $group is empty (as it is when called from $categlib->get_object_categories_perms() - does that sound right?) shouldn't anonymous be able to view categorized pages if tiki_p_view_categorized is set for them? or have i misunderstood? yes should be ok cool - i'll commit (categlib.php) works for me here now Any recommendations on importing javascript the JS mod doesnt seem to be working SVN: Commit by jonnybradley :: r 15691 /trunk/lib/categories/categlib.php: [FIX] Added group check to get_object_categories_perms() (Anonymous couldn't view categorized objects) jonnyb: I think Anonymous also needs permission to view wiki pages. The categorized permission is in addition to whatever they're allowed to access. yes - tiki_p_view is on for anon by default (for me) Hmm. I can't access a topic_image. I wonder if it's because the site is in maintenance mode and Varnish might be trying to cache the "page". SVN: Commit by aproulx :: r 15692 /trunk/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [ADD] add categories listing for image in tiki-browse_gallery.php i hate people who don't understand the beauty of stylesheets "i want to hardcode all my fonts" SEWilco2: did you put the dot in .htaccess rule as \. ? luciash: Yes. Working OK for the Example.org wiki page. snarlydwarf: i don't like hardcoding, where is that ? a dumb cow-orker snarlydwarf: aye :) "okay, you can change every page when you decide that it looks dumb" The worker will get to work with his hard fonts. Hard fonts make for hard work. indeed :/ she doesnt get i can change every font on those pages with 1 change in the css monospaced fonts ("we want the typewriter look") hardcoded with full justification, so it looks really stupid. some people are just hard headed css can be annoying sometimes, but geesh, hardcoding is so much more painful There are situations which invoke specific TW styles. Can those typewriter pages get such a classification? I don't remember the name of the feature. So the pages will not have the hardcoding but will (at the moment) have a typewriter font in the CSS, but can be changed when necessary. she doesnt want to do that. tis my job to do the css, she does content but wants to do style i guess hehe I am waiting for her to ask for more spacing between paras when her junk isnt even p's... it's stuff she pasted Everyone's got an artist inside them, screaming and throwing a tantrum while splattering paint on a canvas and trying to get out by dancing in chocolate.
