I wonder what's the easiest way to upload and show a Flash video. File gallery urls (like tiki-download_file.php?fileId=48) don't seem to work with the FLASH wikiplugin. Is there another url?

hmm, i thought you could use attachments to a wiki page too, but as i try it even doesn't let me add attachment on my B2 copy :-p

In 1.9 I could store Flash files in the file directory and use them with the plugin in wiki pages, but in Tiki 2 I've had trouble.

They play like any flash file in my Windows browsers. Same format as Youtube, etc.

say I have search results, each individual item is checked for perms for that user to see if it shown, or not (great!)
This seems to work fine if group has global tiki_p_view and then, certain pages are not accessible (thus filtered)
But if globablly, the user doesn't have tiki_p_view, but has special permissions to view a few pages, the search will still show 0 results.

Hmm, youtube, etc., use flv, and Flash plugin can display them, at least on Wndows.
youtube uses their own video player which is swf iirc

hm. I did use the Flowplayer plugin for flv files when the Flash plugin didn't work, but didn't think this was always necessary.
So people using Tiki are either using outside players like Youtube, or else aren't streaming Flash, (or else are using Flowplayer, which supports flv)?

I can use flowplayer on my sites, but was looking for a way to play flv files on tw.o with default plugins, etc.
