chibaguy: SEWilco, the doc.tw.o missing side column content (actually was down below the center column a ways) was due to div tag craziness caused by a couple of box tags being around an unordered list item (or two?). This breaks up the <div></div> tag pairs, which affects the div tags of the columns.
(I also wondered about that "dropping bomb" icon....)
*litecss-based themes are vulnerable (at this point in time) to careless or ignorance-is-bliss use of syntax that cause div tag mismatches.

relena: hello
***: evame has joined #tikiwiki
evame: Hello all!
Good Morning from Spain
i'd like to kown if in tikiwiki exists something about mininews
my department need publish small notices
but that notices are different to principal news
do u understand me?
somebody awake?
:)
chibaguy: evame, Tikiwiki's news articles can be of different types. One could be mininews.
Then you can use the Articles plugin in a wiki page to display only mininews notices, for example.
evame: but i dont want that appear next to the rest news
ok
i will to do a test
chibaguy: No, the plugin allows you to specify which news articles -- can be distinguished by type, topic or category.
See http://doc.tikiwiki.org/tiki-index.php?page=Articles for more info.
evame: thank u!!
chibaguy: Sure :-)
***: Iramon|away has joined #tikiwiki
evame: other question
i could put my mininews in a module?
my mininews must appear go in of a module .. not a link to my mininews
chibaguy: Hmm, I think this can be done, but I'm not sure exactly the way.
Normally the Articles-related modules just display the topic/headline, not the news content.
But I think a module can be made to show a wiki page content, so such a wiki page could use the Articles plugin to display the news stories, so this would appear in the module.
The short answer is 'it can be done.' The longer answer is 'further investigation is needed to discover exactly how.' ;-)
evame: hehe
That is the reason that I'm telling you;
i need just it
chibaguy: I think the easiest way is to define the mininews article type. Then make a custom module whose data is the Articles plugin with the appropriate parameters to display the only mininews articles.
the only -> only the
I'm not sure how well this content will work in a module, because of the narrow size. But it's worth trying.
evame: ok
i'll try to do sth
:)
thank very much!
chibaguy: Ideally, a new module should be made that displays the content just as you like it: headline + story intro, or something....
But the custom module approach is pretty useful, too, and can be done immediately (tiki-admin_modules.php).

I will try on my mac

luciash: well, it's not problem for me but maybe for some other linux users... i didn't spotted a note about the reason to require latest version on their blog
even
was just a bit annoyance

upgrading Photoshop, might be a problem, true :) maybe upgrade to The GIMP ;)
MatWho: I might have to, I am so familiar with photoshop does the GIMP do Camera RAW files?

only major problem with GIMP is still poor support for CMYK afaik
