chibaguyThinking about the ui revamp, it would be good to see how versatile the new code is; i.e., how many looks/layouts (for page top, wiki actions, etc.) can be done with css only.
For example, the new tabs are great for an easily editable wiki, but for installations where the look should be less wiki and more normal web page, the tabs are probably too in-your-face.
So either there should be an option to use the tabs or more subtle links/buttons, or it should be easily doable on a theme/css level.
Anyway, the functionality needs to be there first, and this is happening. :-) 		[05:01]

I seem to remember mine did not do that by default after installation
First I needed to install exim, then reconfigure exim to tell it that no, I did not mean to configure it as a one-computer network :-) 		[22:12]

Jyhemapache just doesn't include MTA capabilities. It's a web-server. And PHP is a apache module [22:17]

JyhemI can't answer aout windows servers configs :-)rnIt also used to be simpler on unix ten years ago, when all unix machines came with a sendmail which allowed ingoing/outgoing mail and also open relays. Then unix admins got tired of being spam relays and now you have to open your MTA if your computer is meant to send mail. [22:20]
amettemattbmc: good solution is to use something like nbsmtp or ssmtp - they emulate a sendmail interface on the local machine and do nothing else than move mail to the smarthost you have running on your network already - both only a couple hundred kilobytes big
( actually ssmtp didn't work for me with PHP - try nbsmtp ) 		[22:30]
