SVN: Commit by wikiman :: r 16123 /trunk/tests/testfile.txt: test SVN: Commit by wikiman :: r 16124 /trunk/tests/testfile.txt: test are there any modules for internationalization in edits? i mean something so that the wiki syntax will show different under different selected/detected languages? wiki pages have multilingual support and there is the LANG syntax plugin for conditional display that's cool, i guess i need to see the LANG syntax plugin then :) works for small things in version 3.0, lph added that quicktags will localizable will be localizable hello? I'm having a bit of difficulty with formatting an article for tikiwiki. It contains comments source code, so the '#' become numbers, etc. Any guidance? zylogue, # at the left margin is wiki syntax for an ordered list. But you can probably deactivate that in each case with no-parse tags, like ~np~#~/np~. Or else put a space before the #. chibaguy, that is what I just found and am reformatting with. Thanks! ok :-) chibaguy, got a second? I'm trying to find the permissions setting menu for permitting anonymous visitors to be able to view the homepage and other parts. That's "Groups" under the Admin item in the default menu. tiki-admingroups.php Then click the key icon to assign perms for each group. thanks OK. other than tiki_p_view what perms does anonymous need to view the homepage of l4smb.net? chibaguy, got any suggestions? I've added the tiki_p_view in the wiki section to anonymous visitors. but I still get a permissions denied. Is it possible to have certain text in wiki's deleted after a specified period of time? zylogue, I can see your homepage OK, as anonymous. Maybe you need to clear your site and/or browser cache. stix, as far as I know, there is nothing set up to do that. Well, an article can have a "publish until" date. But I don't know about anything for wiki pages. A wikiplugin would be the solution, but I'm not aware of any that does that. what are the base requirements for trunk (3.x)? I am unable to complete a new installation from a fresh svn checkout :( hi ricks99, are you using php 5. IIRC, that's required. using apache 2.23,php 5.2, mysql 5.027 (on win xp) get a blank page on tiki-install.php In ui-revamp, I turned off the wiki feature to test something, and now I can't turn it back on. Even though feature_wiki is y in the db, Tiki doesn't recognize that. I mean I had to change feature_wiki from n to y via phpMyAdmin, but this has no effect. Using both the old and magic admin pages have no effect. Clearing caches has no effect. Wiki is just permanently off. ;-) ah, never mind, wiki is back on, maybe a cache hadn't cleared. sleep? chibaguy: prefs are cached - need to log-out log-in Does clearing "All user prefs sessions" have that effect? I think that's what did the trick here. no it is bugged since .... one day a long time ago - I did not find how to fix it back yet ah, well anyway, my wiki feature pref is working now for some reason. Yes, Caarrie, about time to sleep. :-) ;) midnight in japan hmm - do we search on wiki attachment? It seems no .... :-( hi... seems I managed to set my admin menu to fixed collapsed, so now I cannot find my way to the menu administration - how can I get there directly? tiki-admin_menus.php thx should it not toggle expanded/collapesed when i click on the folders in the menu? using firefox on a loinux ubuntu system, nothing expands or collapses...? when you click on the icon of a tiki menu? It's a good idea when altering menus to define a new module with the new menu type -- and if you make it only visible to admins, others won't see the test menu. sylvieg, yes it works for me... they do expand when I use the neat theme, but not other themes hume: Incidentally, some styles show menus with -+ and you have to click on the + rather than the folder name. SEWilco, yeah... I try mozilla, there are folders, they do not expand here I don't remember whether that kind of menu requires CSS menu feature be enabled in Admin>Features. ah... the neat and moreneat, there the "arrrow" seems to be javascript:toggle('admmnu'), but in the other themes it seems to be javascript:inctoggle('admmnu') - could that make the difference? SEWilco, did set "CSS menus (suckerfish menus" but no change hrm... now I as trying my way through the themes, and suddenly both left and right column disappeared (as if they fail with this theme) - how can I get out of this when switch-theme-module is no longer available (no left col)? some themes do not have columns. u can reset the theme from the admin: look & feel page Hume left before I pointed out it's a good idea to use two windows/tabs when tinkering with themes. Have one kept on the theme page just in case. Are article "own image"s stored in the DB? I think that's what I'm seeing in the code.
