Welcome to the official Tikiwiki English Irc channel, Please just ask your question, dont ask to ask, someone will reply if and when they know the answer. Welcome again and please stay awhile cellvia2: my question is regarding characters in page names
i am able to create pages with ampersands and slashes
and when i do "list pages" it lists them and i can click on them fine
but when i reference these pages using the wiki-markup (( page_name )) it won't link properly
i'm assuming because of the special characters.... any help would be very much apprciated as i don't see why this would happen with the markup, yet works fine when i do "list pages"
and, fyi, i am running tiki 2.2 marclaporte: in admin-wiki, change wikilinks to complete cellvia2: oh... cool!! thanks, is there any particular benefit to having this turned off?
worked, appreciate it very much marclaporte: _ should be part of basic set

it is time to upgrade info to 2.0 - but it needs some style newws - is .... beurk ***: Caarrie is now known as Caarrie|away marclaporte: hehe amette: :) marclaporte: how about we fix thenews.css sylvieg: http://info.tikiwiki.org/2.0 marclaporte: It's not that far, it is? sylvieg: what do you about the thenews with some make up?
do you think?
seems it is not ok .... so if somebody wants to work on the style on this style - we can upgrade and people will be able to log -in... marclaporte: ok

I just committed a code to a tikiwiki experimental branch annotation
how can I test my code? ***: SEWilco2 has joined #tikiwiki Tikiwiki|bot: SVN: Commit by porsh :: r 16135 /branches/experimental/annotation/ (6 files in 4 dirs): [FIX] Testing wikiplugin ANNOTATION updated as part of GSoC 2008 program

I am not very sure that this is what I was expected to do
I was referring to http://dev.tikiwiki.org/svntips
I just want to show you people the work I did in some temporary place first........and then after improving it on the basis of your suggestions then finally making it ready for tikiwiki 3.0
I would be highly obliged if someone can guide me step by step in what I intend to do ***: raji1 has joined #tikiwiki porsh: any news about lphuberdeau? will he be available today at some time?
marclaporte: can you see the working of the annotation code I just uploaded?
or can I somehow create a sample working so that all can see the working and give their suggestions for its improvement ***: lphuberdeau has joined #tikiwiki marclaporte: porsh: : I see your aanotation code here: http://cia.vc/stats/project/tikiwiki porsh: I mean somewhere I can upload an image and then show the working of the code
some tikiwiki wikipage
so that all the people(tw developers) can experiment with it and give their suggestions marclaporte: porsh: do you need a web server to setup a demo? porsh: no something like http://ui.tikiwiki.org/Forums#A_screenshot_proposal_that_you_can_annotate
would be great
some experimental tikiwiki server where I can upload the annotation code and then create a sample there ***: cellvia2 has left

I showed him the development by sending him the codes and he would then add them to his tw server at appropriate positions and then I would create a sample out there by marking annotations on an image on any of the wikipage
If you can arrange for something like that to happen then it would be easier for me to take your reviews about the work and quickly make necessary changes anf finally make it ready for tw 3.0
