holyfeldI'm using Tiki-wiki 2.0 with the damian.css theme. At the bottom of the wiki pages there's a line that gets drawn through the "edited ....". http://www.donaldegray.com/tiki-index.php is one such example. Is there some way to have the line above the "edited ..." information? [12:30]
luciashholyfeld: yep, it's a visual CSS bug [12:37]
holyfeldso my choice is to live with it or change themes? [12:38]
Caarrieor try to fix it ;) [12:39]
luciashedit the damian.css

holyfeldDon't know that much about css ... may give it a try. What's the worse that could happen?
Hmm. I was using the olive-blue theme, but the cursor always landed in the "login" box when people went to the home page. I shuffled stuff so it didn't require scrolling back to the top to read the page.

gferreirahello tikiwiki
i have a quick question about icons
i have a set of custom icons i would like to use with tiki
is there a way to integrate them in my stylesheet without overriding the existing icons?
i mean, is there a special place where i should put them, in the same way i put custom .tpl files in templates/styles/MyStylesheet/ ?
[13:54]
ricks99maybe in ../pics/.. or ../img/.. [13:58]
gferreirathe images i want to use correspond to the ones in img/icons and img/icons2 [14:01]
ricks99you want to simply override the default icons? can you just replace them? [14:02]
***lphuberdeau has quit IRC (Read error: 113 (No route to host)) [14:02]
gferreirayes, i can simply override them
i was just wondering if there is a way to add them without overriding the current ones
[14:02]
Caarriechange the path in all the tpl's and css [14:03]
gferreirait would be nice to choose between icon sets like we choose themes, but independently from themes [14:05]
ricks99good idea [14:07]
gferreirathanks for the suggestions. i will simply rename img/icons to img/icons_default, and add mine to img/icons [14:07]

Tikiwiki|botSVN: Commit by sylvieg :: r 16198 /trunk/ (3 files in 3 dirs): notice: wondering why DecFilter needs so many level of array? [15:32]
sylviegif you can explain great - just that the inputConfiguration of admin_notif is different from tiki-index
it is missing a level of array
+ there is a catchAllUnset that is null and not an arry...
so so far I understood - tell me if I am wrong - I added a level of array to have all the methos checked + added a test for the cathAllUnset
[15:32]
lphuberdeauI might have made an error... can't say why I didn't detect it thought
catchAllUnset is an increased level of filteting... means everything gets a specified filter or is removed from input
[15:36]
sylviegi have only the show error always open ;-) [15:37]
lphuberdeauI hate that it's at the bottom of the page... really below my eye sight [15:38]
sylviegin my style I have #errors {z-index: 1023; position: absolute; top: 0px;} [15:39]
lphuberdeaubut the reason why there are so many levels of arrays is that the validations are meant to be stacked... you could have multiple of each validation type [15:40]
sylviegI am not sure to follow you .. I do not understand why the previous inputConfiguration of tiki-admin_notif is not enough... seems powerful to me - so is it the code that must be adapted to the more simple form on inputConfiguation or I missed some thing [15:44]

[16:00]
lphuberdeauwell, one aspect is that I expect some generic parameters, like stuff found often, to be added from different parts of the code
for example, nothing from the comments include is validated right now because I can't understand line of that mess
[16:07]
***tomb_ has joined #tikiwiki [16:08]
lphuberdeaubut if validation can be made for it, it should also be as an include of some sort, so it could just append the blocks it needs to the input configuration
page config remains intact
without the additional levels, staticKeyFilters would be overwritten at some point
about the page controls stuff... feel free to ask me all your questions here... might save some time over the email exchanges
[16:08]
sylviegfor inputConfiguration ... I did not get it - but if you say so ... ok :-) [16:13]
lphuberdeauI just commited an alternative layout
works just the same, but looks less verbose
[16:14]
***FrankP_german has joined #tikiwiki [16:17]
lphuberdeauwell... think about some generic parameters like sort_mode, offset, maxRecords, ...
we could automatically prepend their declaration and not have to worry about them in each file
filtering order would become... generic declarations ... page specific ... generic XSS filtering
(last one is blocked by catchAllUnset which simply removed the values instead of filtering)
anyway... this is a long term effort... for now, one page at the time
[16:18]
sylviegbut if it is not easy to understand , you will be the only one to do the job [16:22]
Tikiwiki|botSVN: Commit by lphuberdeau :: r 16199 /trunk/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [MOD] Removing silent error avoidance and using less verbose filter declarations (example) [16:23]
lphuberdeauIt's not that hard
and it does not matter if not everything is done... as long as those causing <x> problems get fixed, it's good.
and I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers for that
[16:23]
sylviegin ui-revamp when I activate user watch, where the button appears? [16:26]
lphuberdeaudesigner did not specify that ;)
I guess it should be in actions..
[16:26]
sylviegit is why I say it is to rigid for now... [16:27]
lphuberdeauhum... incomplete, not rigid
in fact, the watch action is just undefined at this time
[16:27]
sylviegthe refresh cache?
how can I say that I want watch and refresh as icon and not in the actions list?
on a fresh ui-revemp install - I have still the edit/rename.. bar at the bottom . How can I desactivate it?
[16:33]
lphuberdeaunot all actions are defined... so you need to modify the TikiPageControls_Wiki part
addActionsMenu probably
the page bar will be removed... transitional state
[16:36]
page controls can also define the footer
just a different template
[16:42]
