holyfeld has joined #tikiwiki holyfeld: I'm using Tiki-wiki 2.0 with the damian.css theme. At the bottom of the wiki pages there's a line that gets drawn through the "edited ....". http://www.donaldegray.com/tiki-index.php is one such example. Is there some way to have the line above the "edited ..." information? luciash: holyfeld: yep, it's a visual CSS bug holyfeld: so my choice is to live with it or change themes? Caarrie: or try to fix it ;) luciash: edit the damian.css
look for .editdate or page-bar
and give it margin-top: 10px or something ***: kiilo has joined #tikiwiki luciash: just note that damian.css is pretty old theme and is no more supported holyfeld: Don't know that much about css ... may give it a try. What's the worse that could happen?
Hmm. I was using the olive-blue theme, but the cursor always landed in the "login" box when people went to the home page. I shuffled stuff so it didn't require scrolling back to the top to read the page. luciash: holyfeld: if you back the file up nothing will happen holyfeld: Or I can look at http://tikiwiki.org/Themes_for_TW2 and download a new theme! ;{)> ***: Lucymoz has joined #tikiwiki Jyhem: Polomrn

i have a quick question about icons
i have a set of custom icons i would like to use with tiki
is there a way to integrate them in my stylesheet without overriding the existing icons?
i mean, is there a special place where i should put them, in the same way i put custom .tpl files in templates/styles/MyStylesheet/ ? ricks99: maybe in ../pics/.. or ../img/.. gferreira: the images i want to use correspond to the ones in img/icons and img/icons2 ricks99: you want to simply override the default icons? can you just replace them? ***: lphuberdeau has quit IRC (Read error: 113 (No route to host)) gferreira: yes, i can simply override them
i was just wondering if there is a way to add them without overriding the current ones Caarrie: change the path in all the tpl's and css gferreira: it would be nice to choose between icon sets like we choose themes, but independently from themes ricks99: good idea gferreira: thanks for the suggestions. i will simply rename img/icons to img/icons_default, and add mine to img/icons ***: gferreira has quit IRC ()

I think (it is in the doc.tw) ricks99: @holyfeld: if the option is enabled, you can select Wiki > List Pages

oops, sorry :) holyfeld: @ricks99 - I enabled the List Pages option. it's a start, but there's 7 pages of wiki pages. I'm hoping for a single page I can print (knowing that the printout will be longer than a printed page).

I don't understand the purpose of your last commit
seems like attempting to hide errors ***: SEWilco2 has joined #tikiwiki Tikiwiki|bot: SVN: Commit by sylvieg :: r 16198 /trunk/ (3 files in 3 dirs): notice: wondering why DecFilter needs so many level of array? sylvieg: if you can explain great - just that the inputConfiguration of admin_notif is different from tiki-index
it is missing a level of array
+ there is a catchAllUnset that is null and not an arry...
so so far I understood - tell me if I am wrong - I added a level of array to have all the methos checked + added a test for the cathAllUnset lphuberdeau: I might have made an error... can't say why I didn't detect it thought
catchAllUnset is an increased level of filteting... means everything gets a specified filter or is removed from input sylvieg: i have only the show error always open ;-) lphuberdeau: I hate that it's at the bottom of the page... really below my eye sight sylvieg: in my style I have #errors {z-index: 1023; position: absolute; top: 0px;} lphuberdeau: but the reason why there are so many levels of arrays is that the validations are meant to be stacked... you could have multiple of each validation type sylvieg: I am not sure to follow you .. I do not understand why the previous inputConfiguration of tiki-admin_notif is not enough... seems powerful to me - so is it the code that must be adapted to the more simple form on inputConfiguation or I missed some thing ***: rpg has joined #tikiwiki

holyfeld has quit IRC ("ChatZilla 0.9.84 [Firefox 3.0.5/2008120122]") lphuberdeau: well, one aspect is that I expect some generic parameters, like stuff found often, to be added from different parts of the code
for example, nothing from the comments include is validated right now because I can't understand line of that mess ***: tomb_ has joined #tikiwiki lphuberdeau: but if validation can be made for it, it should also be as an include of some sort, so it could just append the blocks it needs to the input configuration
page config remains intact
without the additional levels, staticKeyFilters would be overwritten at some point
about the page controls stuff... feel free to ask me all your questions here... might save some time over the email exchanges sylvieg: for inputConfiguration ... I did not get it - but if you say so ... ok :-) lphuberdeau: I just commited an alternative layout
works just the same, but looks less verbose ***: FrankP_german has joined #tikiwiki lphuberdeau: well... think about some generic parameters like sort_mode, offset, maxRecords, ...
we could automatically prepend their declaration and not have to worry about them in each file
filtering order would become... generic declarations ... page specific ... generic XSS filtering
(last one is blocked by catchAllUnset which simply removed the values instead of filtering)
anyway... this is a long term effort... for now, one page at the time sylvieg: but if it is not easy to understand , you will be the only one to do the job Tikiwiki|bot: SVN: Commit by lphuberdeau :: r 16199 /trunk/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [MOD] Removing silent error avoidance and using less verbose filter declarations (example) lphuberdeau: It's not that hard
and it does not matter if not everything is done... as long as those causing <x> problems get fixed, it's good.
and I'm sure there will be plenty of volunteers for that sylvieg: in ui-revamp when I activate user watch, where the button appears? lphuberdeau: designer did not specify that ;)
I guess it should be in actions.. sylvieg: it is why I say it is to rigid for now... lphuberdeau: hum... incomplete, not rigid
in fact, the watch action is just undefined at this time sylvieg: the refresh cache?
how can I say that I want watch and refresh as icon and not in the actions list?
on a fresh ui-revemp install - I have still the edit/rename.. bar at the bottom . How can I desactivate it? lphuberdeau: not all actions are defined... so you need to modify the TikiPageControls_Wiki part
addActionsMenu probably
the page bar will be removed... transitional state
page controls can also define the footer
just a different template Tikiwiki|bot: SVN: Commit by lphuberdeau :: r 16200 /branches/experimental/ui-revamp/ (2 files in 2 dirs): [MOD] Only show down arrow on menu elements lphuberdeau: I have the feeling the user options should be somewhere else
