I am a first time visitor, well a first time vistor last night.  I hadn't realized I was still logged on when I quit for the night, but I guess I am glad I was because I was able to see that it is an active channel.  I have been looking for somewhere to get some good tikiwiki insight but have not had much luck until I came across this channel.

While I am a pretty decent web developer, I had not used tikiwiki prior to a project that I started on in December.  Its a super robust product and I love it but I have run into a couple of hiccups and haven't had much luck getting around them.

One problem I can't work around is the javascript issue.  I know that it works, so I must have some config incorrect or something.  It still strips my tags.  Does anyone have any ideas as to what I may be doing incorrectly?
either you use the plugin JS - or you wait for 3.0 that has a better security managment and do not stripo the javascript

maybe someone has had this problem before...  A friend posted on one of the blogs on my site. I'm not sure what happend next, but the Blog did not load anymore, though the posts did show up in the "last blog post" list. 
I did stumble into such a problem before and i worked it out by going diving into the sql db and removing any special characters in the blog post title and text that might screw up the code. It worked then.  
Now, I even deleted those blog posts till the point when I know it worked fine (one of my posts from yesterday).  The strange part is that the rest of the site works ok. When I click the BLOG link tiki-view_blog.php?blogId=7 it just ===gets STUCK=== . After that, any page on the domain where the blog is hosted gets stuck. The only way to get things back is to delete the cookies.

DragomirZZ: resetting the admin password is easy. it's a simple sql statement. but I had similar issues with upgrading from 1.9 to 2.x, they changed something with password encryption, so I had to delete all users and let them sign in new.
that can cause a great deal of confusion, and I still don't know if the update would fix the issue I have on my online version (which I have not updated it)

if you used different encoding than utf-8, then you have to convert it to utf-8 or you have edit your header to use romanian iso encoding, because Tiki uses utf-8 standard (unicode)

so maybe if you're assigning the modules to anonymous, the modules can disappear for you

How can I troubleshoot "Permission denied you cannot view this page" errors when accessing pages I should be able to access?  I wonder if the permissions were borked when I upgraded and migrated TikiWiki to its current host.
