I wonder why wikiplugin edit popups don't pop up at my branch 3 site; they appear at the bottom of the page.
I update by ftp, not svn directly. But thought the updates were complete.
No configuration is needed for them to pop up, right?

Not really necessary to think about it right now, as the option is only available as of version 3. we're still running 2.1 on production and 2.2 on test. This weekend going to move to 2.3 for both
so in a few weeks i'll implement it when we switch to version 3 :)
I've already come across a few bugs that are still open on the dev.tw site. Is there a special reason for this, or can I just report them so that someone can close them?

Yes, suckerfish works vertically, but the module it's in has to have an overflow=y argument, when the module is made.

To use suckerfish on a structure, the structure ul, which has class=toc now, needs also class=cssmenu_vert or cssmenu_horiz. That's all.
So this could be added with a pref maybe in the code that makes the structure.

The ones in the Tiki package are original. Some other themes have been adapted for Tiki.
So the answer depends on which themes you mean.

Sure, the adapted ones that I know of are GPL or Creative Commons Attribution.

They are tested. What kind of issues do you mean? (And I hope the files you tried were for the correct Tiki release.)
None of the files at themes.tw.o are for Tiki 3, so far.
I tried them on tiki 2.2.. I have not tried tiki 3 yet. The kubrick theme was showing the logo two times when i selected site logo.  Accidently I found out that the header.tpl file was missing in the kubrick templates\styles folder. I copied header.tpl from underground theme and it worked..

vkumar, if a theme doesn't have it's own header.tpl or other file, it uses the default header.tpl. It isn't "missing" unless the theme needs a custom version of the default file.
Kubrick doesn't have a header.tpl at my installations, and works fine.
So I think maybe something else was affecting yours. Possibly the cache needed to be cleared between theme changes.

But what about the Tiki caches, at your server? Sometimes you get a mix of previous and current theme parts after installing a theme.

About using underground's header.tpl, since Underground has its own, that means it's different from the default header.tpl, which Kubrick expects to use. So trouble could be introduced by making this switch.

One problem with suckerfish menus, if you make an item a section, but don't give it any options (sub-items), suckerfish will make the dropdown ul anyway, even if it has no li's.
So a border box appears for the ul, and nothing inside.

if you have a menu link somewhere to tiki-index.php and are using group homepages, if you admin groups and edit a group, the tiki-index.php points to the group you've edited rather than the default group you belong to... 
now I don't think this is really a bug... I expect this behavior is intentional but it just caught me by surprise.
so I guess I shouldn't report it if I don't think it's a bug :)

Macleus: You might try a different style in case that's triggering something which confuses the Javascript.  I don't know the default style.
Oh it stopped working.  Restart your browser in case your Javascript got confused?
Are you using a script blocker which recently got an update?  I use NoScript but no updates in the last day or two.

Now I'm trying to understand $tikipath in the same file
I'm guessing its the file system path to tiki.  Anyone know if that is correct?

I'll comment it.  So if on linus i had tiki in /usr/local/tiki-3.0  then you'd expect $tikipath to be that, correct?
and on Windows if C:\inetpub\wwwroot\tiki-3.0 then you'd expect the drive letter, too, right?

you could creeate that dir & set permissions to it
the dir exists but i have no access privilges to it
well, you'll need a different expert then.  I would assume you need to get permissions fixed by an admin

Hmm.  Fixing a bug will change Cat perm behavior.  Now: tiki_p_read_categorized allows reading even without user having tiki_p_read.  But tiki_p_read_categorized also grants Cal edit icons, Sheet edit, and Blog posting.
So I need to change that if a Cat perm is true then the user must also have the related other permission (tiki_p_read, tiki_p_add_event, whatever).
It's going to break sites which were depending upon Cat granting a permission higher than the permissions which a Group has.
I'm locally coding it as a fix in 2.1/2.2.  I'll add it to 3.0 and document the behavior.
I have a question for the group.  I have my site designed to assist my dnd group.  I want to create tracker items (NPC's) and only display them to the group after they have reached them in the campaign.  How could I go about this???

ok, I got it where they cant see the tracker through perms but they can see it in the "since your last visit" module, although it gives them permission denied if they click on it
When working with trackers, I set the field open new items as pending but it still opens them as pending
