chibaguy	I think it'd be good to have a "theme options" directory in svn mods alongside "themes". probably the theme option should have a parent theme indicated, because I imagine most theme options are designed to work with a particular theme. so in svn (& at mods), the path would be mods/trunk/theme_options/tikinewt/blue/ (for example). actually my motivation is to implement some of the legacy themes as tikinewt theme options. also to have new options for other themes maybe these options aren't something everybody with Tiki needs or wants, so it'd be good not to bulk up the core files with them. chibaguy	not much, usually just a small .css file in a directory, but could have some background images. yes, for good general-use options, bundling would make sense. I think for options that are more specialized, then mods might be more appropriate. I think feb12 could have color options similar to, say, andreas09 theme. would be some nice variations thenews could have the sanserif option	[07:11]

In my local tikis, I indicated another db to use, but the installer didn't use it and I didn't know until after the process ended. esp. important if a db has data (save the trouble of restoring from a backup).
