(in *.tpl files) polom hi Gary! I would like to clean up some stuff in 4.x mods I'll also move some stuff from mods to core Is there a way to get mods and not have to install them? I would like a trunk site with all mods-trunk-themes (like themes.tikiwiki.org) to debug and commit back marclaporte, I guess mods could be svn exported. then files moved around or installed in your trunk site. That's basically what I do for theme developing. I have Tiki installations in parallel to the svn trunk and branches, and export from svn to the installations, or copy changes from the installations to the svn directories. (this is on my local pc) (this includes svn tikiwiki/mods ) hmmm I just tried to use mods in trunk to install themes good is it hides by default the old stuff bad news is that I was unable to install tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r21173 10/users/chibaguy/trunk_themes/themes/ (24 files in 12 dirs): [NEW] To facilitate development and in case anyone wants them early, trunk (Tiki 4) versions of maintained themes in mods; this commit: remove 'magic' support and change to column hide-show icons. oh. I expected some things would have to be fixed again when strasa and other themes started importing layout.css. chibaguy: :) Each theme got different tabs styling, even for layout, so it wasn't clear what should be the global tabs layout style. tikiwiki: 03luciash * r21184 10/trunk/styles/feb12.css: [FIX] feb12.css: tab look in FF (layout.css override) jonnyb also was talking about simplifying the tabs css. Hopefully by release of 4.0, they should be in pretty good shape. luciash & chibaguy: one thing that I noticed is that Titles and Subtitles, login box and logo don't survive the same in each theme mlaporte, do you mean after the switch to importing layout.css? (also now importing layout/design.css) no, before dunno, now chibaguy: +1 for simplification you mean when installing themes at sites? I feel like Titles and Subtitles, login box and logo are kind of like a mobile (the type of strings-hanging room decoration), and easy to knock off balance. ;-) About tabs, Jonny said why not do them as a list, like most css tabs in the world? But I haven't even looked at how the tabs are made now. in tiki chibaguy: we don't have to be as the rest of the world ;) :) true, as long as that means better. chibaguy: it's mostly developer preference and semantics when considering what should be the original element of tabs also it helps when you view it in text browser to decide what tag is better to use for what purpose tikiwiki: 03luciash * r21185 10/trunk/styles/tikinewt.css: [FIX] tikinewt.css: tab look in FF (layout.css override) luciash, could these theme-specific layout.css overrides be prevented if layout.css itself was edited instead? Also, is [class].tabactive a hack to give a property to non-IE browsers? If so, we should use this property for .tabactive and put the old .tabactive property in css/ie6.css and ie7.css, I think.... chibaguy: as you said, it's too specific per theme, so i rather fix it in themes which have problems ...consistent with moving other IE properties from layout.css to their own files. ok yes, it's supported by modern browsers, so the same property before applies for IE6 too and is overriden in this valid "hack" actually, i prefer valid CSS hacks next to the selectors they override so you can easily see what's going on and update both in case... i am not much fan of IE6.css and other specific css files but i have to live with the majority decision ;) I understand your feelings about that. I was the same, before, but also have moved to living with the majority decision. :-) tikiwiki: 03luciash * r21186 10/trunk/styles/tikinewt.css: [FIX] tikinewt.css: rbox-title look (better layout.css override - only what is necessary) Now I'm happy to have IE-free main css files. yeah, rbox styles are another area that were different in various themes, so hard to find a basic layout. (some used z-indexes, some didn't, some floated things, etc.) IIRC Anyone know what this p= stuff is? I fear that I might have created it, but I can't find its origin either. tiki-list_file_gallery.php?galleryId=131&p=1|7|13|14|30|35|41 well, i think it shouldn't be that hard... for layout.css just usage of position: relative and bottom: -1px should be enough if the background of the active tab by default is the same as the border color of the data... other advanced themers can then override in themes chibaguy: ^ I see the feared twiceler has found whatever 'p' is so it gets to crawl the files several more ways. p ? maybe pagination related ? I can't decide whether twiceler is smarter than me, or if I'm more stupid than twiceler. chibaguy: z-index: 1 is necessary when you want to cover the top border of data but i wonder why it's not done the oter way around ? (iirc i had it like that for simple theme) SEWilco2: no idea then, do you use ajax pagination or maybe they indicate parent nodes in the file gallery tree ? SEWilco2: and i have no idea what is twiceler :-p Welcome to the official Tikiwiki English Irc Channel. TikiWiki or better known as TW, is your Groupware/CMS (Content Management System) solution, you can get more infomation at http://info.tikiwiki.org/ . luciash: twiceler is considered an extraordinarily stupid search engine crawler. It goes through every URL, so it will look at your filegals sorted in every possible way. SEWilco2: aah :-p why not to ban it in robots.txt ? luciash: I'm trying to create reasonable rules for it, such as telling it to not follow the indexing options. But other things are also encountering the odd p= stuff somewhere. I don't know whether to create a p= rule because I don't know what it does. Oddly, I think I saw it someplace a while ago. chibaguy: imagine the tabs inside block element instead with border-bottom: solid 1px color-of-the-tabcontent-border... then you need no z-index for the tabs inside because these position:relative can be shifted 1px on the bottom overflowing their parent border then making the effect of active tab to look the same chibaguy: then the tabcontent would need top border none of course luciash, ok, I'll play with tabs a while :-) good night, all :-) z polom moloq New Forum Posts: LDAP Troubleshooting - http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=17&comments_parentId=34534 I turned on the mobile feature but then I get no response from the installation. I assume there is a default mobile.php, and accessing other URLs won't invoke it. At least I think mobile.php is the default. It's been a while since I configured mine, and that is where it is now. erro log error log sylvieg, cPanel has very little, but I have SSH.
