Anyone know how to do this? Got it working - there was a icon at the bottom that opened a dialog box to set the fancy. BTW it only displays if there is text in the description field and there is no way to do that via the normal edit bye tiki-listpages.php trunk any language doest work mlaporte: seems OK here, how does it not work exactly? chealer: http://demo.tikiwiki.org/trunk/tiki-listpages.php but change to English or French you will see there are pages Clean install of latest trunk + http://profiles.tikiwiki.org/Collaborative_Multilingual_Terminology http://demo.tikiwiki.org/trunk/tiki-lastchanges.php -> Also missing data mlaporte: I also see pages in any language, if that's what you mean. not sure what you mean my problem: any language should show all pages, but it doesn't show them all. btw, today, I needed category change module, and the explanation you gave me yesterday was quite helpful mlaporte: what page does it miss, for example? (I see 0) mlaporte: 8. are you in a perspective? mlaporte: am I right that this User Page change will cause breakage on a good number of installs, which will eventually get pages with both "UserPage" and "User:" as prefix, unless they set the prefix back to "UserPage"? I am not sure before, changes to lib/setup/prefs.php only affected new installs now, I am not sure if that's still the case. I'm sure a User: conversion tool would be handy. I didn't do anything for the upgrade script. mass rename of wiki pages :-) I think the upgrade script is the wrong approach for this. Offer an admin button to do User: rename. If there's an existing page don't rename just report the conflict. Pressing the button repeatedly won't matter unless someone is trying to use "UserPage" for real content pages... and they can rename it back later. For that matter, there's no need to rename them all at once. Let them specify how many pages per button press. tikiwiki: 03marclaporte * r21380 10/trunk/lib/setup/prefs.php: [MOD] Mayan Calendars: deactivated on clean installs. mlaporte is right, it only affects new installs, the defaults are set in the DB. which is good. mlaporte: considering this, I'm not sure an upgrade notes entry for this really makes sense. I guess people won't want to change the default anyway unless they have no userpages and plan to have some. makes sense / is useful New Forum Posts: Can TikiWiki be made to do this ? - http://tikiwiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=3&comments_parentId=34605 chealer: I agree. Should we log these chnages then? If so, where? Maybe on profiles as it affects profile makers mlaporte: I see two categories of changes that can be logged: those that cause breakage to upgraders in some cases, and those that change behavior importantly enough that past users may want to know in advance. the prefix change could fit in the second, but I don't know if it's important enough. mlaporte: if it doesn't fit there, I don't know where to document the change besides in the VCS log. mlaporte: we could also, of course, publish a full list of behavior changes including all [MOD] commits, try to order the list by importance, and let people decide at which point they want to skip. tikiwiki: 03nyloth * r21386 10/branches/proposed/lang/sl/language.php: [QT] Rollback rejected proposition r20671 Is there a way to have a wikilink with a name like: Firstname "aliasname" Lastname incl. the "" chars? But you lose the defaults, so if one Group needs edit you have to grant that separately. SEWilco2: can I set permissions only for one page? nicolamr: For example, you can grant only read permission to Anonymous, and grant read and write to Registered group. SEWilco2: I'd like to block comments for all groups but only on single pages, like the main one nicolamr: Yes, just go to the page and click on the Perms tab (or icon, whatever your style uses) nicolamr: Those permissions override the normal ones, so you may have to grant several permissions to several Groups. nicolamr: You can create test users in vario I see! I looked for something like that, but in edit mode. that's why I couldn't find it. Thanx SEWilco2. ous Groups and use them to test how they behave. or I could log out and try as anonymous Yup. But if you're not an Admin you might turn off your access to the page. SEWilco2: It seems that I can only assign perms, but not take away perms... and not all perms are listed (e.g. there's the one for viewing comments but not the one for writing comments) nicolamr: When you use the perms feature, the Group's normal permissions don't apply. Don't let the read comments and they also can't write them. nicolamr: Grant them the ability to view pages or they won't be able to see the page at all, as their normal perms don't apply. toctoc sylvieg ? hi xavi hi sylvieg sorry I didn't copy the homepage of that dump on the email message the thing is that I did add that perm (As explained by the pretty tracker documentation) to the appropriate page (according to the doc.) but it didn't work for me. my suggestion is that either there is some bug on tiki31, or the documentation is incomplete that's why I sent you the db dump, for you try if needed, to see whatever settings are needed (and thus, not explained in the documentation) I'll fix the documentation if that's the source of confusion this is the issue related to "pretty tracker" ok following the thread in private.... re-polom xavi: btw, i have set up 3.1 test site and tracker to simulate your cause so if you need we can try there later then thanks luciash tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r21405 10/mods/trunk/wiki-plugins/r/lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_r.php: [MOD]R: possible to get the first attachment of a url param ietmId tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r21406 10/trunk/lib/jquery_tiki/tiki-jquery.js: tikiwiki: [MOD] Better selectors for overlib override. tikiwiki: Still not the proper fix (replacing {popup}) but a bit more efficient in the meantime. do it makes sense that a line containing only * be interpreted as
