I first assumed the problem was CSS, but found that even with your stylesheet not used (so using only lite.css) the left column is still displayed below the other two columns. So I wonder if you are using the default tpl files, or if they are modified. (My local test is only of the final HTML page, so I can't see the tpls.) Also, shadow layer seems to be turned on.
