olinuxx, maybe you should search for "username" at doc.tikiwiki.org, or use Google search "site:doc.tikiwiki.org username". I don't think SEWilco2 knows every page at the doc site.

Anyway, I'm not sure it's possible to change the username.
I only knew where the documentation is, so I answered that question.  I'm not aware of a way to change a username through TW.

as far as I know, it isn't possible, not with keeping the user history intact.
well, I guess a find and replace in the database would do it, but there's no tiki admin way, I think.

luciash, if you recall, a week or two ago we were talking about a problem at zukakakina.com where colorbox wasn't working in a side-column module. I think at least part of the reason is at tiki-jquery.js line 241 that specifies #col1.

It never mailed anyone that uses the domain email
for external SMTP sever you need authentication in 99% cases of course

Those barely able to use the Article feature ;-) So your tracker solution would make me happy but our users would be confused.  They even strugle with simple Wiki markup. THX again to you guys for your help.
coaboa: yea, it would need more work still and do the submitting interface in simmilar manner as TRACKERLIST using TRACKER wikiplugin
coaboa: i am going to avoid the wiki markup for my users by pre-configuring optional textareas for every paragraph of the article
they will be short news though, so nothing complicated as large word articles

clearly. What about something like an OpenOffice plugin for tiki (eg. with submit to site option)? There is one for mediawiki (which i never tried) For larger articles/textportions this would be helpfull to users.

just upgraded to 3.3, when using the "admin must validate registrations" process....
the email that the new user receives contains the link, but...
when the use clicks the link, they get an "invalid password"  message...
but the acocunt *is* validated and they can then login

@grobda24: tiki cache is cleared. user has no cache to clear -- they're coming to the site from an email link
@coaboa: not sure i understand? my issue (i think) is simply that tiki shows the wrong message. tables look fine -- user is validated properly

also have encountered an issue with the VERSIONS plugin... 
Tiki is merging the first line of text of the currently displayed section into the version navigator div....
this causes issues with some wiki syntax, such as the *#* which must be the first character in the line...

Article Issue with 4.0: Disabled Article->Articles Listing->Rating. Submitted a new article (no Rating dropdown visible). But  a 7 Star Rating still shows up in that article. Whre can i disable this feature or remove it from template?

anyone using "Require validation by Admin" for 3.3 registration process? Does the user's registration link work for you? For me it reports "invalid" but does correctly validate the user

ricks99: There was one little problem that I am still testing tho, it seems that if Admin creates the user and "Require validation by Admin" is enabled, the notification email to the new user was not sent.

right now my tiki (2.4)  is authenticating with ldap
problem is, is it stores the password *in a hash* on the wiki server
tikiwiki first checks if the user is in the tiki, then if that fails, it goes and checks the ldap

QUESTION: How do you change the NAME of a page? In other words, not the title within the page, but the actualy NAME of the page itself as it appears when you search or list pages?
