using tiki 3.3 and PluginTracker, can I pre-set a default value at the plugintracker level, instead of at the tracker field definition?
^sylvieg?
I'm making a kind of customized survey for my students
the survey is in a tracker, and I'd like them to use the same tracker for adding feedback on many pages
And I wanted to pre-select the page name (already defined as a drop down menu), so that there is no chance that they link their coments to other page names....

do u allow multiple submissions? or limit by IP?
(that's the one thing i really do like about tiki's polls and surveys)

you need to check the table users_users and the 2 column valid an waiting

huw_at1_: Hi there does anybody know how to stop tiki from inserting "<x>" in my HTML tags when saving from within the editor? I'm running a newly upgraded version 4.
sga: @ricks99: what do you need to check this issue? the next step i do: install a ftp-server and transfer the files for a new installation by ftp. i did the installation with ssh (unzip tikiwiki-3.3.zip and chmod 777 nessasary directories).
ricks99: dont know what is causing the issue. possibily some sort of security limitation on your host?
sga: @ricks99: is not a hosting plan. i run it on a virtual server (netcup.de). all limitation can be changed :) ok, first i install tikiwiki 3.3 again by ftp. you will stayed informed.
ricks99: ok. good luck

chibaguy: huw_at1_; unless someone else here has more info, I think tiki 4.0 has not shown the <x> problem. that's why I suggest making sure no old files are being used, by for example just copying the new files over the old ones again.

sylvieg: chibaguy: do you need a perm tiki_p_trust or something like this?
chibaguy: I don't know why huw_at1_ is getting an <x> in script and object tags in tiki 4.0.
Is there a perm that is needed to avoid that? I wasn't aware of any.

macnific: What is the name of the module that we can register new users. Where can I find more about this module.

I am working on a Portuguese version for it.

ibrrorg: i'm trying to get a firm grasp on articles. is an article something that you say create a wikipage and embed the article(s) that are that subject on? is there some kind of good faq on the structure of how this should all be? thanx

ricks99: Any know how to extend Tiki search so that I can search the version history of a wiki page?
And then have the results display which version it is from?
sylvieg: ricks99: some code to develop
ricks99: but not too hard, eh?
sylvieg: if you are in mysql search it will be easier to do
ricks99: tiki-searchresults = myslq, right?
searchindex is tiki search?
sylvieg: need a fulltext on tiki_history and some interface to search on it
SEWilco2: The Shoutbox on doc.tw.o is getting busy. :-)
ricks99: Perhaps you should mention the kind of history search which you want. Edits by one person? Search edit comments? Find versions with a certain string?
ricks99: Some are content searches, others are metadata searches.
