I did set some wiki code in site header area (using {wiki}{literal} tags {/literal}{/wiki}...
and sometimes, it displays properly, and sometimes it doesn't
by "properly", I mean: the image at the right hand side should move to the right end of the header, for instance, and it's not always doing it.
Nowadays it was displayed to the right when I saw the page as anons, and not when I did log in...

I have noticed at times in the past, the topbar menu didn't display until I logged in. But that didn't happen too often, so I never tracked down a cause.
so using split for distribution of images at the header... for anon. everything works
as logged in, that split syntax doesn't work as expected, and the three images are shown alltogether aligne to the left

anyway, I wonder what's the best way to have the side images (logo on the left and pic on the right) always on the sides, and having the center expanding as much as needed to fit the width in between

ah, that could be a key. when not logged in, div#header-top contains div#customcode. when logged in as admin, it contains #customcodewith_ad, which has 400px width.

the 'customcode with ad' option was done thinking there would be a banner ad taking up a lot of the space, so only 400px width was allocated for custom code.
If something wide like your table of images is put in there, then the results would be unpredictable.

y. my main issue was simply, the error message (generated by tiki or apache?) was useless. is there any way to have tiki (1) test for adodb in the installer and/or (2) send more helpful messages?
