chibaguydiv#header-top doesn't have a set height, but varies according to the content. In this case, the tiki logo is what's causing it to be its current height. So you need to check it with your own logo, for one thing. Or else specify a height for that div.
You can measure the distance of the point where the body background changes color, and assign that as the height of div#header-top, if that's what your objective is.
As long as that div's height doesn't fluctuate due to its content changing, it should stay lined up, I think.
