we changed tiki to a new server, and now the filegallery doesnt find the files. Linkadress, with id is correct, but there is no file for download. what got lost? ricks99: Were you stroing your files in the Database or file system? free__: the old configuration was stroing in the database. We implemented the database correctly. ricks99: On the "new" Tiki, did you confirm that your file gallery configuration is correct and is also using the database? free__: yes, i checked that it uses the database. he gives already the new files from the "new" tiki. When you "moved" your Tiki, you moved the database, too? free__: the tiki_files in the database (phpmyadmin) is working perfect, because the new files are fine entered and can be downloaded.
first we implemented the database and after we began the new tiki-setup. otherwise all the datainformation would got lost.

compare with the tiki_files table from your backup, prior to moving the site free__: Can i import just the tiki_files? ricks99: possibly.. "dropping" a table will remove the table from the database free__: so i take just "auto increament" and "if not excist". ricks99: i would restore the entire table from backup. note that you will need to re-add any new files that you've uploaded to tiki since the transfer
