I guess that some margin needs to be added to site title in the css:
http://r-help-es.ourproject.org <- example
I'll have a look at the css and commit some margin and/or padding If I manage to sort it out how to improve it
ah, ok, I see at http://themes.tikiwiki.org that this might be due to expecting to have another horizontal menu on top...
mmmm, don't know how to improve that in a general way for everybody (with or without that hor. bar)

the documentation is not very comprehensive for forums, afaik, but it's a good start
in addition to current documentation, I'm afraid you can only play with permisions at forum level in order to let some users see some forums and not others
at the forum list
but not at forum section level; only at forum level in forum list

chibaguy: ok. I see at golem.de that the ad area wraps across the top and down the right side. That is what you are talking about?
coaboa: yes. the management guys "feel" that this harms the integrity less than ads inside the content area
chibaguy: I see.
coaboa: next more extreme version of this will be robable a "U" ad area surrounding a fixed-width them ;-)

chibaguy: I'm not sure off-hand how to get those extra areas (on the sides) with the current tiki.tpl.
Of course if there's sufficient demand/need, and if they are optional, probably tiki.tpl could be modified for them.
hi luciash

coaboa: so only thing important for this application is an fixed-width positioning option for the upper-left corner additional to the better looking centered one.
modules for those bars would be a great thing!
chibaguy: Should be possible to adjust the margins appropriately.
enabling the modules in those areas shouldn't be hard, according to Jonny. Then getting the css worked out to enable positioning of modules easily, etc., would be more involved.
