also especially with firefox and mouseovers also a problem
in IE mouseovers don't work instead of flickering
had the problem on localhost but also on servers

I reproduced the flickering issue with Firefox 3.6 on Windows XP - I was unable to reproduce with Iceweasel 3.5 on Debian
so far lindon_ told me the problem appears on the page to post a blog entry. It would be nice to find more pages where the flickering happens and find common points 		[17:49]

well, the flickering issue doesn't happen on Firefox 3.0, so it looks like it only affects Firefox 3.6. we'd need to debug the JavaScript code on page load but it's long.
