and i would like to be able to set a general rule
fe. make a template group Embassy ( key )
adn Category classfied ( key )
set up rules between the category and group, an then fe. assign people to Embassy ( Hungary ) etc.

How do you guyys fell about 5.0. We want to go online for a group of ~40 testuser at April 21.? Because of rating I consider to start with 5.0. What do you think?
*guys feel
[11:44]
***Caarrie is now known as Caarrie|away [11:55]
luciashcoaboa: iirc you have to add user preference type field and use realName for it, then you can have it displayed at registration time as required field
coaboa: live support is pretty old unmaintained feature, no idea if anybody touched it for 5
[12:00]
coaboabut this (realName) wasn't available in 4.1! Additional (at least) our users got confused with "realname" as nick as the want to enter a real name that is "not" displayed everywhere
livesupport isn't an issue just a information.
[12:03]
luciashcoaboa: iirc i tested it successfully in 3.x already, must be in 4.1 too
realName
is the name of the input on tiki-user_preferences.php
since ages
if you review the page source
you should see it there
[12:04]
coaboaYes. so we need a Nick and a realname while using email as login. [12:05]
luciashyou can name it whatever you like
if you need additional field for "Nick", then just add it to the tracker as normal text field
[12:06]
coaboabut is this nick displayed in the eg. wiki page footer as author info? [12:06]
luciashbut i think nobody would cry if you give label "nick" to the realName user preference field
nope
and use something else for the "Real Name"
[12:07]
coaboaah thats an good idea...
*a
[12:08]
luciashonly confusion would happen if you allow your users to go to tiki-user_preferences.php [12:08]
coaboathats the case!
and my dilemma
[12:08]
luciashthen you either have to rename it in your custom language.php
or put a custom tiki-user_preferences.tpl in templates/styles/your_theme/
[12:08]
coaboaor you guys think of changing it ;-) [12:09]
luciashwhere you can change it
we won't change it as it would break the preserve environment rule ;)
or respect environment :-p
people use it for real name mostly
[12:09]
coaboabut not when usin eamil as login. which maybe become more and more important
anyway try to do it as you proposed thx
[12:10]
luciashthen make a wish to add a "Nick" input in the default tiki-user_preferences
for some next version
when email as username enabled
[12:11]
coaboaoki
its just that i'm no coder and customizing to many templates or db tables may become a hazle to me if future tiki upgrading is requird
[12:12]
luciashcoaboa: sure, but for this workaround you would need only to change the string label next of the real name field there
to display "Nick" instead
maybe using lang/yourlang/custom.php is even easier solution
you just put "Real Name" => "Nick" there
in the array
[12:20]
coaboatrue.. stopp sweating ;-) [12:21]
luciasharray of translations i mean
not sweating yet, np :)
[12:22]
coaboamean I stop tranpirating
my main concern was thar anything with login, userdata and so on has to be in a way that i do not have to touch it, as it would be a major problem to inform the kind of users we have that they need to reregister.
btw as this is an english page does the custom.php work there too?

ricks99@geweldigeklass: what is ur question [18:02]
geweldigeklaasI want to compose a table of contents with pages in it
when I put {TOC} in my page it does add a TOC...
[18:03]
ricks99{TOC} only works with structuers. [18:04]
geweldigeklaasbut then when I click on a link to go to the page then I get an error [18:04]
ricks99pls see docs: http://doc.tikiwiki.org/plugintoc
what type of error?
[18:04]
geweldigeklaasI know, I put a structure in the TOC
well I get an error like : The requested URL /tikitest/&page_ref_id=3 was not found on this serv
[18:04]
ricks99that page in which u added {TOC} is part of the sturutre, right?
what is the name of ur structure?
[18:06]
geweldigeklaasit is "home" [18:07]
ricks99what is ur tiki version? [18:08]
geweldigeklaasI have the latest I guess, I just downloaded it about 5 days ago [18:09]

geweldigeklaasyes I did [18:11]
ricks99hm... r u using ajax or sefurl? [18:12]

geweldigeklaasI looked at this setting and my setting for 'teatures' and 'structures' is marked as all five subitems in this item
features/structures it should be by the way
yesterday when I did not find this out for myself I set up a whole new configuration out-of-the-box and got the same problems. Perhaps I'm doing something I should not
[18:19]
ricks99not sure, sorry. i know that my 4.2 toc structures work just fine. [18:22]
geweldigeklaasok, thanks for your help so far [18:22]
as long as I am in the structure I can move to different pages, no problem. If I click on the menu at "Wiki Home" and move throug the pages then thats where I get the problems [18:28]
ricks99and wiki home is in the structure? and it opens as a structure page? [18:29]
geweldigeklaasWiki Home is in the structure, when I click on it I get a nice toc with all items. Only when I click on the items (links) I have errors....?? [18:33]
ricks99try clearing tiki cache. thats the only thing i can think of [18:34]
