Trebly: to sylvie : i could not connect because of a lot of other work till one month. I have still the problem of admin login in 4.1 and 4.2 and the sites are locked out. I found this reported in #2936, Can you define a SQL script to set quickly the good data's (gyanpathak solution probably good but to apply directly on 4.2 data's), or must I try to do it starting from no knowledge of this part of...
...the product ? thank's for help.

-: chibaguy and dog hanging out while rest of family is at hula and martial arts practice (seperate events ;-) ).
amette: polom back from a sunny Berlin morning :)
chibaguy: hi amette :-)
amette: heya chibaguy :)
how are you?
chibaguy: I wish I could get to Berlin for the Tikifest, but....
amette: ah, damn...
... no way?
chibaguy: yeah, kinda tied down here now.
amette: you got a new job, I heard - congrats :)
chibaguy: thanks. keeps us fed.
amette: :)
I'm just working on getting my own business working... let's see..
chibaguy: ah great. good luck with that.

RyanS: which admin area configues the top menu bar? its disappeared from my sites wiki
chibaguy: RyanS: what Tiki version are you using?
RyanS: its 4.2
chibaguy: How did it disappear? After an upgrade?
RyanS: no i can remember seeing a config area, but cant recall, i must have disabled it
chibaguy: hmm, in 4.2 it's either in Admin General under the Navigation tab, or else under Admin Features. I don't recall which offhand.
(it moved at some point fairly recently)
RyanS: ok ill check

has web based IRC ever been available as a tiki plugin? like the jabber one?

xavi: RyanS: nope. But if you can code a bit, you might make one based upon the jabber one and the webchat code or whatever... (like the webchat access to freenode as linked from the tw.o/Irc page. HTH
chibaguy: thanks for this!: http://zukakakina.com/display65
chibaguy: Mibbit was being used that way until #freenode stopped the access. There hasn't been an irc web app directly integrated.
xavi: this is a first step forward in that direction! :-)
chibaguy: xavi, it was just some thinking about how to get that particular layout easily. I think it mostly can be done with the current code.
xavi: :-)
chibaguy: RyanS, I mean freenode, not #freenode, sorry.
They blocked Mibbit in general.

about the R plugin If I use a wiki page that does not contains wikiplugin but plugin written with the smarty syntax it works. Example : {wikiplugin _name=r}{$f_170}:{$f_171}{/wikiplugin}
__bold__ in the wiki page ((ressource tracker R)) and the test page is {TRACKERLIST(trackerId=55, wiki="ressource tracker R") /}
xavi: that's good news, sylvieg! thanks for finding out!
and for reporting, on a sunday!
well, it's not a sunday in barcelona but a rainyday :-)
sylvieg: hehe
xavi: how is your OS re-installation?
sylvieg: R is working fine now
xavi: nice! :-)
I editted a bit (yesterday) r_test profile, and I'm in process of making it include some pretty tracker installation also
that was my easy goal for today, rainy-"sun"-day

xavi: mmmm, is there a javascript guru here on a sunday?
PluginTabs seems to have some problems with the FILTER javascript in TRACKERFILTER....
and I when I tried nested Tabs, the second level of tabs don't work, and show the (non working) javascript code in the tab name...
marclaporte: nesting plugins is known to cause issues
xavi: hi marc. well, I was trying , just in case (it would have been nice :-) )
marclaporte: Parser needs to be rewritten to address this
but this is big job and should be done after LTS
xavi: ok, ok, I go back then to the usage of non-nested PluginTab's
marclaporte: So, we need to decide when is LTS (6 or 7)
xavi: LTS in 6: +1
but if too much rewrite for our limited human resources for 6, I'm ok with LTS in 7, in 8... in 18... :-)
I mean OR in 7, OR in 8, or in 18...
marclaporte: LTS in 8 is too far
rewriting parser is going to solve many things and it's worth the effort. However, it will change some things
and cause upgrade quirks
ex.: when people use parser bugs to do stuff
xavi: Why not LTS every three branches?
LTS in 3, 6, 9, ....
marclaporte: I am ok with that
but when I asked on the list, no one answered
xavi: it allows people to stay in LTS, and upgrade only every 1.5 years...
marclaporte: I don't ever see myself using LTS, so I prefer that the LTS people weigh in
Upgrade are so easy in Tiki :-)
xavi: ok, fair enough
marclaporte: But I am very happy LTS exists. I think it fills a need
xavi: "so easy": not when you used custom themes from earlier versions (from pre-4, etc)
marclaporte: an important need
yeah, themes are a challenge
but Gary re-instated many as options
and with site identity today, you can make custom looking site without forking tpls
xavi: yes, yes, as theme design is more stable, tiki upgrades should be less painful (As far as custom themes are related)
upgrades from 4.x onwards, I mean
marclaporte: did you try workspaces doc yet?
xavi: "try": I read it. Does it count as "tried the doc"?
I tried the reading I mean :-)
but lots of clicks to be done yet.... for a new workspace to be created from scratch, etc.
that's why a nice and simple GUI with predefined workspaces as a starting point (as the ones provided in AulaWiki) would be a nice addon for people to start using them....
marclaporte: yes, of course
xavi: congratulations for the design and work done so far.... but I see it still early for people using them, since some work is needed until there are some profiles done to start using them for semi-production, etc.
In my case, at least, I'm improving my skills with profiles, through "r_test", which I need for work... and "Barter" profile, that we'll be improving this summer
Aha, plugin fade and plugin tabs are good friends!
(much better than PluginTabs and PluginVersions, at least :-) )

sylvieg, webdav: it depends on where the remote image is located
sylvieg: people are doing copy paste from word with image and are not happy the images are not copied...
xavi: if the image inside the word document is located in the webdav powered tiki file gal, and the image link to that file is not broken, then , yes
***: redflo has joined #tikiwiki
xavi: if the image is somewhere else (either from the local computer, or from somwhere else not the webdav powered tiki file gal, or in webdav tiki file gal but with broken word-image-link), then the answer is no
well, where I said "word" I meant OOo writer
I guess MS Word is similar still to OOo Writer but in fact I have used MS Word since 3 years ago, I think (and it was Word 2000, I'm afraid, not newer)
TikiDav (in mods) was able to do it, If I recall properly, but the image was not saved at the right size...
a pity Jreyes couldn't keep up working & coding with Tiki...
