got a nasty 5.x installer bug on my shared hosting. it's a 4.1 tiki but the line in local.php said $dbversion_tiki='3.0' and so it's trying to use adobe but failing (for some reason)

i think adding the api_tiki=pdo to local would fix it, but it would be better if it just worked...
and now i'm trying it again the version has been already updated to 5.0 (in local.php)

easiest would be a short video how-to
but basically you just need to enable "Use db for translations", import your lang and start translating directly via Tiki

then when done use export language, change the encoding to utf-8, save the file and send it as patch or copy/paste and commit directly

minor issue: language.js seems not to work for me
I did the install in catalan, and the javascript message of password strength is in english, even if I translated and commited
so should we postpone? i'm not sure when i'll be able to donate another day next

fyi: utf-8 of the db not set properly, I'm afraid. My first install was a clean install on a new db...
db created through phpmyadmin, and usually get latin1
