When I try it everything works fine
The tikiwiki.org forums were behaving strangely when the site was using 4.x, inconsistently for different users, like that. I'm not sure if the reason was found.

I guess if users can report details when it happens, like if they were writing a new post or replying to one, etc., maybe the pattern can be figured out.

is there a way to generate/register a child-account-username and password by registering a parent-account which will be in the parents group? Usage for a kids page where parents shoud coregister their childs accounts.

maybe could be extended reusing the category transition feature. Once the parent add some object (tracker item) to a certain category, then the user (child) become a valid user? (just thinking loud)
