xavi, i have a follow up question/problem
when I try to migrate files from database to directory then this is the error that I get
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 83886080 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 1365275 bytes) in /hermes/web01b/b1022/moo.twotowers/guide-pr/lib/core/lib/TikiDb/Pdo.php on line 95
***: Caarrie|sleeping is now known as Caarrie|away
guide_pr: to me 83886080 > 1365275 so I don't see the problem, is there other PHP variable that I need to change
JoernOtt: what is your memory limit in php.ini?
guide_pr: what is the var name
JoernOtt: you already used up the 83886080 and now the script wants 1365275 more
guide_pr: memory limit is 80M
i see so let me change it to more :)
JoernOtt: I have 128 M there
guide_pr: testing .... 1 ... 2 ... 3...
JoernOtt: but some of the scripts are memory hungry
guide_pr: Fatal error: Out of memory (allocated 126353408) (tried to allocate 2305153 bytes) in /hermes/web01b/b1022/moo.twotowers/guide-pr/lib/core/lib/TikiDb/Pdo.php on line 95
yikes
JoernOtt: so, when you add a 500M CD image to the database, this might happen
guide_pr: i don't have files that big
i have a bunch of pictures eac at most 4M
coaboa: hi joern
JoernOtt: I don't know the logic behind the script by heart
so I can't tell you what is going on there
lo Carsten
apparently facebook kicked the old api key, It wasn't used in the oauth stuff anyways
Just enter the application ID instead, as I think the social networks stuff checks, if all 3 prefs are filled.
I just updated http://doc.tiki.org/Social+Networks with the facebook docu
coaboa: so should we remove it from the form?
JoernOtt: I am not sure
we will in 7 definitely
but I don not know if we should do this in 6
coaboa: Joern if you have a spare minute could you call me regarding an offer... ;-)
JoernOtt: PM me your number, I am at home (sick)

JoernOtt: chibaguy: look at your php.ini
chibaguy: OK, thanks.
It's a hosted domain and I don't have full access, though, but will check.
What might need to be changed?
JoernOtt: Quoting the php.ini: open_basedir, if set, limits all file operations to the defined directory and below.
chibaguy: ah, so it should be unset?
JoernOtt: This directive makes most sense if used in a per-directory or per-virtualhost web server configuration file.
chibaguy: I see.
JoernOtt: Nope, you should have a look if you van set it in a .htaccess

xavi: hi chibaguy , I have same problem in a server with security modules in apache (safe mode, etc.), and I get those errors since I migrated a tiki5 site to that server. It still display those errors in tiki6
JoernOtt: I don't have it set atm because each client runs on a virtual server
xavi: btw, chibaguy: do you know if colorbox is broken in tiki6 alpha?

ricks99: can someone update the IRC welcome message?
xavi: chibaguy: this type of syntax works in My localhost with tiki5.3, but it does not in doc.t.o with tiki6alpha:
{img fileId="335" rel="box[g]" thumb="y" alt=""}
"it does not": it displays the image in the browser, but without using any semi-transparent bg (like colorbox, etc.)
chibaguy: xavi, maybe Jonny is the guy to ask about that. I recall he was doing something with the img syntax.
xavi: ok
ricks99: @xavi: if the image is transparent, u need width="100%" otherwise Tiki resizes it (basedon gallery settings) and you loose the transparency
xavi: chibaguy: forget it, the problem with that colorbox or similar fancy js display is on doc.t.o. Tiki6 in my localhost displays images properly
ricks99: :-), and how to you make a thumbnail of a png with transparency?
how do you make = "how do you tell tiki to make"
ricks99: not supported with the curret gd image stuff that tiki uses
xavi: yes, that's what I thought
thanks for the info
ricks99: you can use dlxx instead, then artificially change the size
xavi: I've been removing the width and height params in img for years (= as width="100%" I guess)
ricks99: {img src=dl123 width="50%" will work
xavi: will it? nice!

xavi: ricks99: I'm afraid that your trick doesn't work. At least in doc.t.o

I've set that image to be shown with width="10%"
but it's shown at 100%, afaik
same with width="50%"

ricks99: oh. yeah. thought i said that. when using dlxxxx for the image source, must use src= -- not fileid
xavi: no, ricks99 , you said that already above, I was just confirming it, and that "px" was not necessary

I guess I could use some tools in web developers toolbar or firebug
but still very newbie with them
or maybe some xml validator?
in fact the problem seems to come from the text area itself, maybe...

xavi: mm, through firebug I see: Node was not found" code: "8 [Break on this error] Filtered chrome url chrome://firebug/content/insideOutBox.js
I'm going to try without the jq code in that page
oh well, without the jq code, there is no firebug error related to InsideOutBox.js, of course, but the problem still persists
so the problem must be with either the trackerplugin, or textarea smarty block (just a guess)
chibaguy: I see there is a problem with all the BasicPipe pages (or many, anyway, that I checked so far).
xavi: yes
well, only with the ones which have a texarea on them
chibaguy: oh, the textarea with toolbar is part of the wiki content?
xavi: this one doesn't, for instance: http://161.116.82.31/tiki/BasicPipe+Seccio+01 , and it display all right
yes, shown through the tracker plugin
chibaguy: hm, seems like a bad combination somehow, div syntax-wise.
xavi: but, how would you suggest me to look for the responsible div section?
mmm, maybe eclipse itself will highlight some unended div....
I 'll try that...
or with any other html / xml validator, I guess...

jonnyb: hi changi - sorry, not me
changi: hi jonnyb, tonight i'll work on language generation in release process, pkdille catch a problem in the last release process
jonnyb: ok, sounds good
i was thinking we need to add a new "get_strings" thing for the javascript translation "feature" i added a while ago
changi: another question for the master of jquery, what do you thing about jquery.tools.js
jonnyb: i think i checked it out a while ago, it was required by a rather nice date/time formatter, but decided it didn't add enough to justify adding yet another lib
jquery-ui does quite a bit of it, i think already and is more "official"

is it possible with jquery-ui ?
jonnyb: which version of jquery-ui are we using ?

changi: will try this http://docs.jquery.com/UI/API/1.7.2/Tabs
jonnyb: yes, ui has tabs
this might help too - http://jqueryui.com/demos/tabs/

fabricius: sylvieg: I had a db-crash with a tiki3.5 latin1_swedish
sylvieg: After so many attemts to import the db somewhere, where I could experiment to find the faults, I did export 83 tables (not more used yet) as csv and reimported them into a plain utf8 installation (in phpmyadmin sure) - table per table
sylvieg: Now I have a clean and running utf based installation (actually I have to adjust modules and such, but all datas are back in - articles working fine, login etc.)
sylvieg: An awful pain of stupid work that was
sylvieg: So i guess there might be an opportunity to do so with a script (csv export and import of the single tables as kind of a batch thing instead of doing that manually table per table)
sylvieg: or even better a converter tool like used in Tiki5, but as external software for older DBs

already started to elaborate readme.txt and docs for our admins (we all are not pros, but voluntarily and privates)
actually I am lucky to have been starting to look into this linux-shell stuff

robertp: jonnyb, how do I get revision id in code?
or anyone for that matter.....
jonnyb: hi robertp
robertp: hi jonnyb
jonnyb: you mean like in the comment at the top of a file?
robertp: I tried $Rev$, but nothing.
Exactly!
jonnyb: Ah, $Id $
and you need to add Id as an svn:keyword property
chealer: svn:keywordS
svn proplist, svn propedit
robertp: Does the property need any value?
And should I appy it recursively?
chealer: robertp: yes, value "Id"
robertp: what kind of recursion are you thinking about?
robertp: I believe it will att it to all the files recursivly.
It has that option in tortoisesvn.
chealer: robertp: perhaps for a directory, but aren't you just doing it on a file?
robertp: It added it to all the files. Is that ok?.
It looks good.... I think I will commit.
(or roll back in a sec)
chealer: robertp: I never did that with TortoiseSVN but it's not supposed to
robertp: hummmm.
here goes nothing!!!!!
jonnyb: robertp: did you get that advancedfn file i sent you?
robertp: jonnyb: Yes.
stupid semicolons
jonnyb: mainly it was the windows linefeeds i think
robertp: ok
jonnyb: don't know why i can't commit there... never mind for now

Trebly: looking for an information : do the rule which is that any new version of a file must have a different size is followed systematically, this allows to upgrade hosted version more quickly (filezilla), because the dates are not significant ?
***: fabricius has joined #tikiwiki
Trebly: Lookink for another information : do exist (a dev team tools development) a program to update by merging a language file from a few or more upgraded lines defined into another file (same structure). If yes I imagine do this soft is able to manage simultaneously several upgraded file and detect and report collisions before upgrading. I let you imagine the reason of my question.
