Guys, I have a problem with tikiwiki 5.1 (pogamut.cuni.cz). The thing is that Toolbars in Forum doesn't work. Symptoms: I want to reply to some comment on the forum. I want to make my text bold. I write the text, select it, click B on the toolbar that should make my text bold. What happens is that the page gets refreshed instead of my text being made bold. :-/ Any idea where may be the problem?

its possible .. but you need to use flash / java or html5

yesterday they had at least a short discussion about html5
I think there is the problem, that not too many browsers suport html5 so far and - if I guess right - the standart would not yet be finally agreed by now

Guys - any ideas about my toolbar problem? (buttons in toolbar in Forum replies does not work - when clicked, the page gets refreshed instead :-/ )
Can it be badly set rights ? Or tiki 5.1 issue? Or admin bad settings? I;ve looked throught FAQ and wiki doc and google , but didn't find the answer. :-/

ok, just looking at the forum - there is no toolbar enabled on tiki.org/forums. Or do you mean, post an article describing my problem on the forum?

ok, posted the question. its weird. I suspect bad access rights to some wiki folders :-/ but other things seem to work fine. :-/

Hello, I have tiki5.2 on a LAMP server. When I look at a blog page with the https:// prefix, I can see the page fine.  Without the SSL prefix, the page comes up blank.  However, I can see tiki-index just fine in both instances.  I want to use SSL for logins and such, but I want people to be able to read content without it.  Ideas?
Tiki is using SEO-friendly URLS, if that makes a difference

shared server or a server where you have root access?
2 possible reasons: 1) you have different web roots for https vs http
2) other possible reason is that apache allowoverrides is set to All or something like that for your https site but not your http site
such that the .htaccess is not taking efffect for the http site

there is a different apache config file for http and https for ubuntu usually
