nkoth: GillesMM, no idea... have you checked file perms, and or are you running SELinux?
It says "No such file or directory"

nkoth: yeah, in 6.x there is lib/core in the include path
so in 5.x there should be lib/core/lib I think
GillesMM: where it is located the include path ?
where do you set the include path ?
nkoth: it is supposed to be set by tiki I think, trying to grep to see where it does that

Trebly: <marclaporte>Just summary : I develop :
1- For a site to which you can access (its the beginning some articles but not already translated), the purposes are for now in French http://teawik.trebly.net (many things are reserved for admins before a share by various groups. To explain the best will be if you don't read French to wait to the whole site purposes translation, soon
2- a prefs and config shape for using tikiwiki for the tourism documentation and for on and management of the activity of groups of villages and little cities. Documentation for visitors, history of country but more for management of associations and all human groups which are working for the life of their town or village. I am more ambitious than http://www.wikimanche.fr/Accueil which is...
...a simple wiki limited to tourism and description of organizations and people. I will have a prototype at the end of the year.
These two application are running now because 5.3 is functioning well, while I spend a lot of time without issue with 4.1. More now I am able to change it and upgrade some functions and templates. i begin to know the good use of features and a great part of internal structures (quite anywhere).
The lonely problem is that I have not at all, all my time on this and not so accurate on all the development tools (recently I made a tour of smarty but for example I could not find easily how to send into a custom_header the {tr} for functions parameters like remarks you can see my job on the site).
About me : I am a freelance consultant in mechanical engineering, planning, project management and informatics with 20 years of informatics development as chief manager for great companies (I was not programming myself regularly but able to discuss and manage developments in 10 languages, I wrote nevertheless maybe myself 1 million of lines in various languages). During the last twelve...
...years I was the chief manager of a little company specialized into aeronautics equipment, the crisis had made us crash because of lack of finances in starting important projects. Know since one year I develop new goals, one is tiki.

Adam__: nope "Subscribe GroupS"
the one with multiple groups selection
nkoth: I haven't tried that one - if you are sure you are using it right, perhaps you can file a bug?
Adam__: this one: http://doc.tiki.org/PluginSubscribeGroups&structure=Documentation+TOC
nkoth: Maybe the groups you are trying to unsubscrubed are Included?
Adam__: well in the plugin section, they have a space for "included groups" , i left that blank
so i don't think it's included....unless i'm missing something :S

maybe someone else who's used it can help
I've only used the other one

nkoth: included groups are the perms inclusion that you have in admin... groups fwiw
but I don' think that's it
the X should not show if it's included
can you see what the URL is for the red X?
Adam__: are you a coder? Can you file a bug, and maybe try moving the $userGroups assgnment in the php code up a few lines higher before it is first used?
something does not look right there to me

I need some help with regexp to fix a bug with newsletter validation through the subscribenewsletter plugin (in 6.0rc1)
line 361 in lib/newsletters/nllib.php says:
well, line 360, in fact, says:
$foopath = preg_replace('/tiki-admin_newsletter_subscriptions.php/', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
but when the newsletter subscription is requested by the subscribe newsletter plugin (from a wiki page)...
the path to be rewritten is either tiki-index.php, tiki-index_p.php (at least), and just any page name (if SEO - clean urls are on)...
and I don't know how to write the right preg_replace syntax to include these other cases...
luciash or amette (or any grep master) around at this time of the day?
changi|away? ^
philback: xavi: Tell me what you want to match
xavi: thanks
somehow (with the appropriate syntax), if should replace all this cases:
$foopath = preg_replace('/tiki-admin_newsletter_subscriptions.php/', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]); # the current one
$foopath = preg_replace('/tiki-index.php/', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
$foopath = preg_replace('/tiki-index_p.php/', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
and
$foopath = preg_replace('/anywikipagename/', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
I don't know how to say "anywikipagename"
s/if should replace/it should replace
mmmm
or maybe I can fix it even easier... just hardcoding the valid url for subscription validation
with no preg_replace...
mmm, easier
so just hardcoding the valid path in templates/mail/confirm_newsletter_subscription.tpl
line 9: {$url_subscribe}
...
mmm, well, maybe it's better to fix in the nllib file (so that right prefix and everything is handled by tiki)
so my question, in fact, is about regexp
will this:
"[^"rn]*"
or similar, be enough to represent anywiki page?
***: rodrigo_sampaio has joined #tikiwiki

rodrigo_sampaio: hi xavi
xavi: I need wuick help on regexp to fix a small issue with newsltters
hi :-)
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: ok
xavi: quick help, I mean
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: how can I help you?
xavi: mmmm.... hold on a sec...
read this: http://irc.tiki.org/irclogger_log/tikiwiki?date=2010-11-09,Tue&sel=164#l160
in short: my question is: how do you say "anywikipagename" in regexp syntax?
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: saw your message, I will take a look at the code
xavi: ok, thanks
maybe just ".*"?
I mean:
instead of:
$foopath = preg_replace('/anywikipagename/', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
use:
$foopath = preg_replace('.*', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: this will work by what you described, but might be too generic
xavi: we need to check if there are cases where we don't want to replace anything
xavi: you know about that?
xavi: mmm, as far as I understant the workflow to validate email subscription to newsletters...
the only thing that we need as the path to the url to allow validating (in the confirmation email sent to that email account) is: http://mydomain.org/tiki-newsletters.php
the rest, is the code added by the tpl at templates/mail/confirm_newsletter_subscription.tpl
so in fact, we don't care (afaik) the base url from where the user clicked on the "subcribe button" (from the wiki plugin, or newsletter feature)
we only want to enasure that the url at that email contains http://mydomain.org/tiki-newsletters.php as the base path in the tpl, so the full url works
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: by looking at the code I have exactly this impression
xavi: so I don't understand why we are using regex in first place
xavi: right now, I was testing this plugin within a wiki page, with SEO (rewrite tules), and the link sent to the user was wrong:
...
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: why not just say that $foopath = 'tiki-newsletters.php'
xavi: regexp: neither do I. Probably historically, it was coded to be replaced exactly from the only case where it didn't came from tiki-newsletters.php
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: make sense
xavi: but nowadays, with the plugin, the path can be (Almost) anything
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: give me just a few more minutes
xavi: I will read again the code and also check who wrote it
xavi: ok, yes, good idea also
rodrigo_sampaio: and when
philback: @xavi: it's better to keep the mechanism customizable. For example, I would reroute to an analytics tool, which will know where to go.
xavi: ok, thanks
philback: @xavi: also, think about URL shorteners, like bit.ly, which makes it easier for typing.
***: philback is now known as philback|away
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: the code we are looking at was written in 2003 by dheltzel
xavi: I guess that the problem is that the user receives the e-mail but with the wrong confirmation url, that is it?
xavi: yes, that's the only problem
so, would this work?: $foopath = preg_replace('.*', 'tiki-newsletters.php', $foo["path"]);
***: Caarrie|sleeping is now known as Caarrie|away
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: so apparently it is safe to replace line 360 and 361 with:
$url_subscribe = $tikilib->httpPrefix( true ). 'tiki-newsletters.php';
xavi: ok, simpler.
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: hope this is not going to break anything but I don't think so
xavi: thanks rodrigo_sampaio, I'll test in my production server with a fake account, and if ok, I'll commit to 6.x
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: ok, great
xavi: I don't think this is going to break anything, but fix some use cases :-)
thanks to you!
-: xavi hopes to get some time in the following week to give the wordpress importer a test with the wordpress in our research group
xavi: that wordpress is very small, but it has some attachements, multilingual content, etc.
is multilingual content expeected to be linked, when imported in Tiki7?
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: we have several places were the function we are changing is called (lib/wiki-plugins/wikiplugin_subscribenewsletter.php, lib/newsletters/nllib.php itself called by other functions, tiki-newsletters.php and tiki-admin_newsletter_subscriptions.php), it is a good idea to test at least once the call to this function from those different places
xavi: but my feeling is that it will be ok
xavi: the best would be to write some tests for it, but no time for that now
xavi: ok
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: will be great if you have some time to test the wordpress importer
xavi: don't worry, I will
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: I don't think multilingual content will be linked
xavi: I suppose is a plugin and not a wordpress core functionality, right?
xavi: at some point I want to convince my boxx to migrate from a new (but not used much) wordpress for the group, to the all-in-one approach in Tiki... (since they are veery interested in tiki because it¡s trackers, & PluginR, etc.)
plugin: I think so (i don't know much of wordpress)
http://estbioinfo.stat.ub.es <- fyi
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: yes, I'm pretty sure it is a plugin since I never heard about multilingual support on wordpress core. but I suppose it would be very easy to extent the importer to support that
xavi: this first version of the importer is very simple, requires some user intervention in the content of the posts after the importation
xavi: ok, since you are the master of i18n.t.o things... :-)
rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: avantech financed it

rodrigo_sampaio: xavi: great! I look forward to have some feedback on the wordpress importer ;)
xavi: mmm, rodrigo_sampaio , another thing, that it might be easy for you to fix, since you know the code already
the display of plugin subscribenewsletters is wrong when the antibot captcha is shown
example: http://intercanvis.net/Inici
the button (to subscribe, etc.) is shown on top, whereas it should be below the antibot captcha code
yesterday luciash identified some non-expected (for him) div tags in the source of that page
and to me, they looked to come from the new antibot code in the new antibot.tpl that you improved
