hi jonnyb_
[14:27]
jonnyb_yes, i spotted that - saw LPH made a fix in trunk to do with bbb - maybe that's connected?
are you at the fest?
[14:28]
fabriciusyes, sure
still the audio is a problem - one hand the hardwar, where we had a bit of a better situation at BLN, and still the software
we talked about that yesterday evening
[14:29]
jonnyb_it's always a problem and sort of gets in the way for the people who are actually there
wasn't too bad in NY though, best so far i thought
[14:30]
fabriciuswe need at least a reliable audiostream, that we should test and proove between the Fests - than a simple but good set of audio devices feeding the stream [14:32]
jonnyb_it usually ends up with skype being easiest, sadly [14:33]
fabriciusat NY Fest in the end I just could communicate with Marc via Skype - bbb seemed to be better, but still not good enough, to really be able to take part online [14:33]
jonnyb_my bro-in-law uses TeamSpeak for his gaming - he always says it's rock-solid
not open though, afaik
[14:33]

and you need an account and stuff or a software - isn“t it? - never really used it
[14:34]

whay other plugins are causing trouble?
whay/what
[16:08]
jcyrissewell...doing that now...reinstalling...again...not sure...i am missing something somewhere :( [16:09]
jonnyb_did you merge 6 into your old tiki?
best to do a clean upload of the new one and add in the customisations by hand (dull, but safest)
[16:09]

jonnyb_good - and then added in customised themes etc [16:10]

there is a mindmap feature

mikebearyjcyrisse:fascinating. My idea would be for students to go to the wiki on the state level and be exposed to club activities on that level, then navigate down to their college level and then to their campus level
jcyrisse: doc, are you saying not everyone is aware that tiki is perfect for academics?
[22:09]
jcyrissemikebeary: heh..yup [22:10]
mikebearyjcyrisse: doc could you give me a statement here addressing missoui community colleges that you believe tiki is a great tool for academics and you encourage clubs at all colleges in missouri to use tiki?
jcyrisse: I share your sentiments completely
jcyrisse: I wish I could promote use of your wiki in the same way, but perhaps if this system really flies that would be a good example to show
[22:11]
jcyrissemikebeary: i think the open nature of the software and community, the variety of features, and now interaction with facebook and twitter, it is a perfect match [22:13]
mikebearyjcyrisse: I want to put a quote from a medical doctor that uses tiki wiki for academic purposes [22:14]
jcyrissemikebeary: i am a believer of "if you build it, they will come"
mikebeary: you could use the site as an example of how it could be used, no problem.

mikebearyMine is http://www.collegecollab.org
Can I quote your comments on our wiki?
[22:17]
jcyrissemikebeary: sure [22:18]
mikebearyjcyrisse: thanks, I think it'll strengthen peoples confidence in tikiwiki
jcyrisse: I totally agree with you, people who don't know have no idea of the full potential of tikiwiki
mikebeary: there's so many tools that foster unimpeded collaboration between people
[22:20]
jcyrissemikebeary: from a personal sidenote, you will see the use for yourself during your med school studies [22:23]
mikebearyjcyrisse: mikebeary mikebeary: there's so many tools that foster unimpeded collaboration between people
I wonder I med schools are using something like that
[22:23]
jcyrissemikebeary: i suspect some do, or some variant, ie. Drupal or Docuwiki or other one. [22:24]
mikebearyjcyrisse: I gotta find out if wash u uses it.
jcyrisse: how awesome would it be to collaborate with them. Anyway, i like your tracking idea for a module
[22:25]
jcyrissemikebeary: :) [22:27]

mikebearymikebeary Anyone know why my random picture module is telling me "preference not set: feature_galleries"?
Actually, my website just shows a blank screen now. Can someone help me fix it?
Nothing I do makes it come back up. All I did is set all my homepage modules to anonymous

daniammikebeary, can i suggest you post your question on the mail - list? Do you have the instructions to register and post your questions on sourceforge? If not, here they are: First go to: http://sourceforge.net/mail/?group_id=64258 and register. Then mail to: tikiwiki-devel@lists.sourceforge.net There, it's quite impossible not to get help. [23:06]

chealermikebeary: I imagine you need to turn on image galleries [23:18]
***Jana_ has joined #tikiwiki [23:19]
chealermikebeary: there's presumably a fatal PHP error. you'd need to check Apache error logs and maybe turn on PHP error reporting.

[23:19]
mikebearyError log says file not found 404.shtml
File not found login.php
Oh yeah I tried to manually go to login.php

It doesn't return an error when i try to go to the site again
[23:28]
daniamIn the forum, when I reply to a post I get an error msg: $_POST["thread_sort_mode"]. Any suggestion? [23:33]
