is it possible to have a group's edits always/automatically be approaved & merged?
i want edits by Admins to be updated immediately -- without having to be 'approved'

quick question, I added the option to show the icon from the file type through wikiplugin_file (see r30808)
however, the icon for a .doc file (for instance) is not shown as the icon for word document as shown in a file gallery, but as the icon shown when you aupload the file to a file gallery

i see that $prefs['user_tracker_infos'] contains the *definition* of the user tracker info, but all i want is the actual tracker item # for a particular user
may be "tiki-admingroups.php?group=Admin&cookietab=2"  there you can define a tracker for the user information... as i used this (the equivalent) on tw 3 or 4 it seams to me it work using the userlink
y, but what i want is to send it to a pretty tracker page instead. profile?itemId=XXX where XXX is the tracker *item* number for that particular user.

hi, i am setting up a server with 1 tiki instance on a server reachable throu various hostnames. i want to work with perspectives to show different content on every site but have them all in the mysql fulltext search. is it possible to allow authentication from the first host (i.e. wiki) so that it also logs me into the perspective of another host?
@bro_ I don't think that the use of perspectives overrides login/authentication
i *think* if you're logged in, then your logged in, regardless of a particular perspective
not 100% sure though, you may want to post to the forums

perspectives really do *NOT* allow overriding login information... when clicking a linkt pointing to another hostname of the same system, because of the changed url i get logged out. maybe there is a way to do this with the cookies?
perspectives are independent from login... only thing is that the login-related preferences cannot be overwritten by preferences because that would be a messy situation to deal with
that's what i thought.
although if you use multidomain, you do loose your login when changing domain, but that's HTTP's fault
subdomains work fine if configured properly, and I think there are some other tricks I'm not aware of

kind of, i have to use 3 different for external and 3 other domains for internal access
well, the thing is that if they are under the same domain, you can set the HTTP headers to indicate the cookies need to be transferred across all sub-domains, but that can't be done using different domains
there are alternatives using SSO solutions

okay, so i have to use only 3 subdomains under the same domain or implement a sso solution
or tolerate the frequent logins as you hop from one to the other
depending on your users, it might only be an annoyance to admins and not be worth the effort
