with firefox, I've been able to login with no issues
and until last week (at least) , I had no issues with Chrome 7 on t.o
I noticed it quickly disappearing also, in opera, but thought it was just a one-time thing.

it seems the menu dropdown can be separated from the top menu item for one reason or another. If there is a space, the webkit browsers can have that problem.
same on win/ff
I changed the top margin of the dropdown in most cases iirc.

I find that with the jqui theme (parent theme of xavi's theme), there is a problem before the page fully loads, but when it finally does, the submenus can be accessed ok.

the trouble is, the page looks complete for several seconds before the menus are actually fully functional, since js loads last.

I tried all of that but frankly dropped it all in favor of PhpED. I can navigate the whole of the tiki source with ease, there is a DB client and integrated FTP+SSH clients. Also debugs well, includes firefox pane.
Of course, this comes at a price.
vim's not too bad once moving past the supersteep learning curve.

I'm looking for information on the proper requirements to enable Tikiwiki email use for internal/intranet purposes. I have referred to http://doc.tiki.org/Requirements and there is no mention of PHP()Mail function. However, there is much discussion on the forum boards that I have searched. System: Debian Lenny, Apache2, PHP5, MySqlImpoved, Exim (MTA). My question is, how do I utilize my existing Exchange infrastructure as a relay?

Tiki mail lib uses Zend Framework in the lib/mail/ as in require_once 'lib/core/Zend/Mail.php';

well, what helps is commenting wikiplugin_trackerlist.tpl because there is a huge condition that looks like to fail in there. 
The tracker_itel_field_value isn't even called when anonymous.

I suspect it is empty for people not loggedin
the visibleBy should be "empty" and not "anonymous". Quite a difference... 
it's probably to do with the hidden/public/visibly settings on the fields - it can be set right for this, but be very careful modifying the code - it is, as i said, fragile (i.e. poor)

So, I was right: setting "anonymous" in "visible by" makes the test fail if you aren't logged in.

I kind of agree, especially given the fact that writing tests usually doesn't test the right things.
Write code, make products, install solutions. Then, you'll see where it breaks. But some upfront thinking may help, as well as modeling.

With a TrackerItem class but then, all the array magic and array_merge will be somewhat lost. Untyped associative arrays are a blessing and a curse.

I have done a full form system in Java and Swing some years ago (including validation rules, dynamic layouts, and an XML definition of forms+ interfields script)
i favour a middle way - somewhere in-between where it is now (hell) and where lphuberdeau would make it (too difficult for me to understand) :)
