Hi Fabricus.  I am trying to approach this from all angles.  I can't even do a fresh install without getting those parse errors.  My existing database no longer accepts uploads
says this "Upload was not successful: The file you are trying upload was only partially uploaded"

it only happened when we moved our TIki away to a different server, and then back.  Never had probs uploading before
in the end of the day it is a pity, that I didn´t get there, to put a certain documentation together for the instalation workflow for my provider - could possibly help ya

I did have a dump.  Tiki is functionally fine.  Just can't add new files (hence I was trying to do fresh installs as a workaroudn)

database is the same and correctly working.  Just this Tiki file upload thing.  I would have thought it was server settings, but even if I change to "directory" rather than database file storage I get that same error message
What I do not understand, is why you get this faults now, if you have the old database-dump, the same webspace than before etc.

So did you use the dump from the new (temporary) provider and there some changes have been corrupting s.th. - or what?
same.  I have no idea other than to get the database back, my provider had to give me 24 hours access of bigger than 50MB file dump.

I have one other workaround I am trying.  I got Fantasico to install Tiki 5.2. fresh install and when I go to upload there I get this error message "Upload was not successful: A temporary folder is missing."

idle-, technically, it means nothing as far as I know. So if it's in an echo, you'll basicly see a $ sign in front of the value held in the $variable.

It would work like having a "register" button next to the even name if enabled and would put the registration data into a configured tracker.

so a trakcer item can be in various states along several angles at once. One angle is publicaiton flow, the other would be another angle.
just making it clear... even if trackers have category fields, the categories still apply to the entire item

in many cases you can introduce an other category that is managed by some external process, like "Expired" or stuff like that
Also, the module doesn't always shows in the sidebar. Don't know why. Maybe custom layouts in that site (I am not the only one working on it)

Still fighting with category transitions. Question: I put a sample tracker into a given "status" category, which has 3 subcategs, and I've designed transitions between them
