Morning. I am guessing you are in a very different part of the world from me. : :) TheOnlyMerlin: just ask your question I got a new Tiki Wiki install, and whenever I try to login with any of the users, it just hangs until I get a "This webpage is not available." error. I have no idea why it's doing this. The pages load fine otherwise. TheOnlyMerlin: in which environment does Tiki run? Well, well… I have to install a tw6.1 on a Red Hat 5 server that will not be connected to internet. I have never done it that way and i have nerver worked on Red Hat. Is there something i should be aware of ? Which environment does tiki run? I have it on dreamhost. I think it is running apache (not 100%). What else would you like to know? It will be Apache Apache/Mysql Well, that sounds about right. At first I thought maybe it wasn;t correctly connecting to the database, and not outputting an error message (because I think I set it to keep error messages for admins.. or something like that...) But it seems to be able to access the MySQL database fine. I created a new user through the website, and confirmed the new data by opening up MySQL Workbench and connecting, and confirming the new data. polom beans beans ? :) hi jonnyb hi luciash that colour app thing seems to work - thanks :) ah, great, good to hear that it has found some use ;) tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r32104 10/trunk/tiki-calendar_edit_item.php: [FIX]calendar: can edit personal item thanks to those who worked on darkroom layout. It is back !!!! sylvieg: hi, did u rollback the 32076 ? tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r32105 10/branches/proposals/6.x/tiki-calendar_edit_item.php: [bp/r32104][FIX]calendar: can edit personal item I will nto rollback but add a new commit... sylvieg: ok, sure i have an idea for multilingual profiles, is there a way ? i mean to apply profile including language translations together with it i thought wiki page used as custom lang file resource could work as we have now pretty tpls in wiki pages, we could have language maybe too ? tikiwiki: 03sylvieg * r32106 10/branches/proposals/6.x/lib/trackers/trackerlib.php: [FIX]typo in 32076 perm tiki_p_use_as_language would need to be introduced perhaps sylvieg: tks :) polom y'all hi ricks99 'lom hi luciash & jonnb (no underscore today?) i fixed mine (only took 4 months!) - found some ENFORCE command in the irc faq so this nick is now mine.... all mine! (mua ha ha!) :-) jonnyb: congrats :) :) jonnyb: was it something with "ghost" ? ummm, no, don't think so does tiki have a "where used" for images (or anything really) stored in the file gallery? http://freenode.net/faq.shtml#nickisgone no way to tell which pages use a specific image? isn't there a "backlinks" thing in filegals? tikiwiki: 03chibaguy * r32107 10/trunk/styles/jqui.css: tikiwiki: [ENH] Colors in jqui.css consolidated from 27 to 14 to make things easier for tikiwiki: L&F theme generator. Todo: colors in admin.css, calendar.css, etc. need to be tikiwiki: separated into global (intended to be used by all themes (like wikidiff and tikiwiki: event priority colors), and page-area and text colors, which should use tikiwiki: global/theme classes instead of feature-specific ones. there was something which would check the perms for files linked y, but i really want it in a separate wiki page. jonnyb, I reduced colors in jqui, thinking it might be a good candidate for early color-editing. (fairly simple palette, and no bg images to match) hi chibaguy - yes, sounds good jonnyb: beans is paid ide ? no, seems to be free (it's an oracle thing like OO now) ah, for linux also ? it was java ide primarily before, 's it ? sylvieg: that thingie was backported where you get error with no perms to view the page and you have to login that it redirects you back to the page aftewards ? or only in trunk so far ? -27c in Montreal? wow just caught some news on N.America weather. (sorry for offtopic) bbl :) is so cold in Boston too... my car does not wnat to start don't tell me that... i might not come for tikifest :( oh, sorry I brought it up. ;-) -21c in Boston yeow nope. too cold for rick luciash: are you speaking about 31899 in proposals? sylvieg: ah, yep, that one, thanks hello all of you, i new in tiki and i got /var/lib/php5 troubles! any help? i suppose it is an usual mistake r u alive? sometimes yes but without question nobody will answer but you should be a bit more patient in most cases fine! u where busy! and i 'll be more patient begin by providing more details about the issue, someone with a clue will respond when they will come around u r right! tiki says:The directory '/var/lib/php5' does not exist or PHP is not allowed to access it (check open_basedir entry in php.ini). that really looks like a misconfigured PHP installation whereas other apps use this directory whereas other apps use this directory wery well Tiki mingles quite a bit with include paths, but it does not use anything outside of it's own tree what platform are you using, which version of tiki? any special configurations? OK: ubuntu:10.10;tiki:6.1 and i discover this warning "Warning: tempnam(): Unable to access in /var/www/" (following is my own directory) make sure you that directory is executable for apache in most cases, it should be 0755 @lpHuberdeau: thx for you help, i try @lpHuberdeau: it is 0755 good @lpHuberdeau: Warning: tempnam(): Unable to access in /var/www/******/tiki/lib/init/initlib.php on line 135 all files are freshly extract from .tar.gz all files are freshly extracted from .tar.gz what is barjavel? i supposed a french writer? what? /var/www/ seems like a strange place for temp files I would really check the PHP configuration also, temp folders need write access "also, temp folders need write access"; they have write access, and "Tiki Installer cannot proceed" messager send only one error message: "The directory '/var/lib/php5' does not exist or PHP is not allowed to access it (check open_basedir entry in php.ini). " "barjavel.freenode.net" is your server, and i read some Sci Fi books! oh, that's just freenode that will connect you to any random subdomain in the network chibaguy: apparently, it's -37 in montreal wow +6 in Paris +4 in Tokyo warm coffee helps very cold here, too, this morning... 28F / -2C brrrr ricks99, I do mean -37C -2 does not impress me at all thats why i don't live/visit canada until summer ;-) we do have this horrible tradition of going to barcelona in the summer and inviting people to montreal in the winter :D tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r32108 10/trunk/lib/ (4 files in 3 dirs): [MOD] Allow increment through the helper interface tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r32109 10/trunk/ (3 files in 3 dirs): tikiwiki: [FIX] Code cleanup for sheets tikiwiki: [ADD] Created a new function in $sheetlib saveSheet( $data, $id ) tikiwiki: [MOD] Removed save sheet code from tiki-view_sheets.php tikiwiki: [MOD] Got rid of many of the params that have to do with what state the sheet is in, we should now use $parse for this purpose. tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r32111 10/trunk/ (4 files in 3 dirs): [FIX] Code cleanup, prepping for creating diff methods polom polom chealer hi jonnyb chealer: same here :) anyone have any idea why wiki pages notifications have different From: mail address format (borked here actually) than the other notification e-mails ? (Tiki 6.0) luciash: is that different to 6.1? I think i fixed it at some point after 6.0 - might still be in proposals... jonnyb: that would be great... i will upgrade after the db backup break :) apololgies for the mutliple Tiki Service Providers. apparently the t.o mail server only accepts max of 20 mails per deliver. i kept getting failure notices, but no indication that the first 20 were sent out :( mmm, munch that dogfood! :) hiya, hope your weekend was good ... i'm back for another week of tiki learning curve. ;) img issue ... in articles (block/module) on of the page images is broken. correct path should be: {img src="tiki-download_file.php?fileId=4" thumb="y" imalign="left" title="ice"} but when i inspect the broken element chrome shows me: which is obviously wrong. i've tried a few things to fix it, but only seem to be creating different problems and the image remains broken to the browser. and works fine when viewing the article. the other question i'm pondering.... about form handling. how would you include a form for users? In other cms I would write the file.htm, the doit.php and install it into cms module. what's the process with a tiki? @CodyG: the article inage (identifiie for the article "topic") is not stored in the file gallery. the article_image is correct. you can see this in practice on info.t.o for forms, use trackers well done ricks99 - was just about to say similar (hi CodyG :) ) btw jonnyb, did u get me email jquery caroseul issue? yes, sorry ricks99 - haven't managed to get on to it yet there's a big queue i'm afraid no prob. tx. from what i can see, it should b quite easy. i just couldnt find where to make thechnages. im surprised that no one discovered the issues earlier. i've upgraded it to my "jb misc" list (instead just wallowing about in my inbox) - a step nearer to getting done! :P thanks for the info rick, now i have more to keep me busy today. u in boston, right? i'll buy u a beer :-) got your service provider mail - all seems fine (apart from one tiny typo ;) ) yes, i'll be in Boston (and i've heard of beer) yeah, saw that affter the 3rd mailing :( tee hee its in motion though, and off my coming soon list. so at least @CodyG: check docs for trackers. lots of good info wow... I'm just checking out the video for trackers. what version is that? 6.1 looks a tad more complex. I'll check out docs for sure. this actually looks like fun compare to my previous method of form building. sheesh, that was a lot of options to create that first tracker, now to create some fields... Yo, i have installed tw6.1 on Red Hat5 system including Apache/Mysql. The installation failed during the last step (i have also a notice about UTF-8 vs Latin1 that comes all the time even if i convert) and i got a blank page. In the log the error is "PHP warning"… Require_once(lib/pear/PEAR.php)… i tried from what i found on the web but the little i found is in regard of TW1.9 or previous none since a while. Any clue someone ? ik, sounds grim Yonixxx - it might be a php path thing can you get to a phpinfo on that server? … I tried to check this including path pear into php.ini… didn;t help there is no outside connection for this server and i'm not in front of it. is the path set to anything before tiki runs? sometimes things set a path to a different PEAR lib But ok i do phpinfo and i should look for ? no 100% from scratch brand new you just need a php file with phpinfo() in it k somewhere in the web space ok and i look for ? [ath ? path ? include_path ok you might just need to uncomment the line in the .htaccess (might still be _htaccess) line 174 MMmmm f… i didn't thought about this one ! Many thanks i'll try this…. Pfff i never work in an environment where there is 0 connection to the outside (even not a phone), it is A PAIN ! … about the DB in "latin1" that won;t convert in UTF-8 ? should convert, but i live in a 7-bit world so haven't really tested it much ;) the conversion script in tiki relies on some functionality not available in the mysql version bundled with redhat as far as I know tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r32113 10/trunk/ (4 files in 3 dirs): [ADD] The ability to clone a spreadsheet from history view, we will eventually add links to tiki-view as well all: polom I'm really surprised... I've been working a lot on tikilib recently and never had conflicts it's all yours for now lphuberdeau! hi robertplummer jonnyb: could you check the naming of the schema file I put in, I want to make sure it is correct. polom robertplummer: looks fine to me - you got the _tiki on the end (that usually gets most of us) polom changi jonnyb: Yes, I think I broke something with the last commit, sheets aren't saving, I will have it updated shortly. changi: sort of half enjoying the move to netbeans, half annoying :) But now we have cloning functionality, pretty nice. what is "cloning"? - duplicating? jonnyb: why ? jonnyb: Yes, marc wants it for proper version control. text selecting is a bit weird - double click on some_underscored_var and it only selects the bit you clicked on etc... oh, ok robertplummer jonnyb: it is like create new from this version ok, so needs to know where it came from jonnyb: right, thus I've added new columns. clonedsheetid tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r32114 10/trunk/lib/headerlib.php: [FIX] themegen: Don't try and process css replacements in the installer tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r32115 10/trunk/ (6 files in 5 dirs): [EMH] themegen: Theme Generator does more than just colours, now does font-sizes (partially successfully). tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r32116 10/trunk/lib/jquery_tiki/ (tiki-jquery.js tiki-themegenerator.js): [MOD] themegen: Move colorpicker code from tiki-jquery.js as it was getting too specific to ever be useful elsewhere (and not required by anything else planned) Hi everyone! TheOnlyMerlin if s/he reads the log: for me the users_usergroup table did not get updated properly because of the new expired field. It resulted in the same nasty behaviour Hi, what is needed to mail to after registering. Either the right to send a mail comes from the e-mail which sends the mail ? or there are others requests ? all: How would one save date from a $_REQUEST directly to a tracker without having the user do it? all: Just simple text robertplummer: you mean in a pretty tpl? in trunk? Just tiki in general. Trebly: if you're getting the mails you should be able to reply robertplummer: in php? tiki has lots of languages jonnyb: php or tiki syntax in tiki (wiki) you might be able to use a tracker plugin... jonnyb: how about in php? in php it's in $trkrlib or whatever it's called something like update_tracker_item() don't be scared! :) So, I suppose that the mail which sends must be the same as the registered. I verify that the mail I gave is an alias, It should be the reason why the first and lonely mail I sent yesterday has been rejected. $trklib->replace_item() enjoy Trebly: has to be the subscribed from email robertplummer: tracker has autosave fields lately. I proposed once to fix the tracker so that it work in autosave-only mode. unfortunately it is not working afaik So during the last year I will have been registered three times, who can clear the two previous registrations with mails which are alias. Because I receive now the letter thrice. you can vote for http://dev.tiki.org/tiki-view_tracker_item.php?itemId=3469 tracker cannot be used in autosave only mode Trebly: try admin@tiki.org tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r32117 10/trunk/ (4 files in 4 dirs): [FIX] themegen: Latest... live colour preview back, don't offer css files from different theme settings, handle enter key on new themegen & more tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r32119 10/trunk/lib/themegenlib.php: [FIX] themegen: Better regexp for borders
