EmmArrBee: hi I'm struggling with some search issues and was hoping fro some guidance....
Started to play with the modules search_box and search_wiki_pages but documentation look "thin" Intend pluging them into regular wiki page. Do they have params which control whether the object filter is visible or not
please
luciash: EmmArrBee: all supported params are listed on tiki-admin_modules.php when you edit the (to be assigned) module
go to that script directly by putting it in your address bar or via Admin > Modules submenu
EmmArrBee: Thanks, was so focused on using them as a plugin forgot about that page...
One isue I'm seeing (and we're on v4.3) is that a search via search_box doesn't seem to find hits within wiki page names, although docs suggest it should.
luciash: is it search index or search results ? one needs to refresh the index from time to time while the other is dynamically updated and fulltext
u can set it up on Admin > Search panel iirc
EmmArrBee: was surprised to find second specific module to search wikipage names which works fine
luciash: ye, that one is just for wiki pages
EmmArrBee: Think index is OK since search_wiki_pages is working fine
luciash: also might be that there were some fixes for it which can result in better search in 6.1 (also LTS)
EmmArrBee: Yes, I know we need to move up to 6.1. Unfortunately I only admin the Tiki, I don't control our sw version :-(
luciash: you can try on demo first before persuading your sysadmin to upgrade

luciash: yeah, thought about it too, what lphuberdeau said, when it is latin1 encoding set on your db it might be the problem

luciash: i told you it is complicated... it is soemthing like used in php.ini values for E_ALL etc. but numeric
it can be prolly googled somewhere on php.net site
rpj8: why can't u re-run the tiki-install.php ?
rpj8: i chose the "lock out ofinstall" option while installing. i assumed i couldn't
ricks99: need to unlock to re-run
luciash: you can remove the lock from db/ folder
rpj8: ok,will do.
thanks
ricks99: if you're new to tiki, you might find this useful: http://twbasics.keycontent.org/troubleshooting

JoernOtt: When I Include a page containing only a structure with the {include} plugin, the content is not shown. The same happens, when I use {TOC(structId="Öffentlich",showdesc="1",type="fancy",pagename="Öffentlich")}{TOC}
"Öffentlich" is the name of the structure
rpj8: still a blank page, btw.
noerror output
JoernOtt: rpj8: What is your apache error log showing?
rpj8: and what is your php memory limit?
rpj8: phpmemory liimit is 128
JoernOtt: The page "Öffentlich" only contains {toc} and works fine, but not when included into another page...
rpj8: Warning: tempnam(): open_basedir restriction in effect. File() is not within the allowed path(s):
that's the most recent
luciash: JoernOtt: how is your include plugin syntax ?
rpj8: and a bunch of warning about strftime()
JoernOtt: rpj8: That is the reason. google for open_basedir and turn it off temporatrily
***: conner_bw has quit IRC (Quit: conner_bw)
lphuberdeau: JoernOtt: it probably expects the numeric ID and not the name
JoernOtt: luciash: {TOC(structId="Öffentlich",showdesc="1",type="fancy",pagename="Öffentlich")}{TOC}
rpj8: JoernOtt: will do
JoernOtt: ok, I'll try that
luciash: JoernOtt: i meant the include plugin
JoernOtt: luciash: Nope, I have some text before the {toc} in that page now and the text shows fine, thus the page is being included but the {toc} in there is not run in taht pages context
Trebly: hi, Is somebody interested in the fact that, particularly into tiki-admin for prefs definition, that the label of inputs can't be separated in two line, particularly after translation into others languages? The automatic split make sometimes curious things ?
luciash: JoernOtt: try without the type="fancy" param
stix: Where are the custom module-files located?
***: cwagner has joined #tikiwiki
cwagner has left
luciash: stix: how do u mean that
rpj8: JoernOtt: still not working. no output in httpd error logs
***: cwagner has joined #tikiwiki
stix: luciash, I am using "{category id="1" types="wiki" sort="created_desc" split="n" and="n" sub="n" showdescription="n" showname="n" showtype="n"}" on a page. And I once made some modification to the layout, but I cannot remember where
cwagner: hi
luciash: stix: maybe templates/modules/...
cwagner: @luciash
luciash: stix: or templates/styles/your_theme/modules/
hi cwagner
cwagner: i have doubt if you could help me
in twki bar on edit mode
-: luciash has doubt too
JoernOtt: luciash: did that, but no change: {TOC(structId="Öffentlich",showdesc="1",pagename="Öffentlich")}{TOC}
luciash: ok, JoernOtt , are you sure structId shouldn't be number ?
JoernOtt: rpj8: So, you fixed the strftime thing (usually setting a timezone in php.ini) and turned open_basedir off and restarted apache?
cwagner: when we click on icon add picture, it send to file gallery, but i want to send to picture gallery,
the is a way?
ops
there is a way?
rpj8: JoernOtt: the timezone thing is _apparently_ fixed as I have no error output from it, and yes open_basedir iscommented out and apache is restarted.
luciash: image gals are deprecated in favor of file gals which are preferred method to store images now
rpj8: JoernOtt: now I have _no_ error output in apache's error logs, and I get _no_ error output fromtikiwiki
JoernOtt: luciash: did that too, but still no output
rpj8: have a look at the tiki_preferences table in the database
error_reporting_level -1
error_reporting_adminonly y
smarty_notice_reporting y
switch the adminonly to n to see all errors
even when not olgged in
rpj8: error_reporting_level -1
Edit Delete error_reporting_adminonly n
Edit Delete smarty_notice_reporting n
that'swhat's currently in there

cwagner: but Luciash we can exchange de file gallery to picture in that bottm ?
luciash: i am not sure, i didn't work on that part of code in the direction of move from img gals to file gals
what is bottm ?
cwagner: button
icon
picture
have you try to exchange?
***: rpj8 has left "WeeChat 0.3.3"
JoernOtt: rpj1: activate the smarty stuff as well
and check the error reporting stuff in php.ini, I don't know if it overrides the tiki stuff (should not, but you never know...)
and ofc, restart apache afterwards

luciash: cwagner: you can modify it but i guess it will not work as image galleries do not have the related javascript code to put the syntax in page by onclick
cwagner: you can edit the toolbars icons on tiki-admin_toolbars.php
Admin > Toolbars submenu item
cwagner: thank you

ughlee: tiki ver 6.1 - trying to use the importer - wish to import images and attachments - importer tells me:
No attachments found to import! Make sure you have created your XML file with the dumpDump.php script and with the option --uploads. This is the only way to import attachment.
where is dumpDump.php script?
luciash: ughlee: is it from MediaWiki ?
ughlee: looks like it is from mediawiki
luciash: ok, then it is probably MediaWiki script
