(in 6.2) kind of a basic thing that's causing problems for people who upgraded and can't configure their site as before, among others. Also sends poloms from Boston hi lphuberdeau and jonnyb and other Beantown Tikifesters (and everybody). tikifest is not officially started, we're just too lazy to get out and go to RCC it's all Dirk's fault :) :-) hi all tikifesters and all chibaguy and all: we should help to update a list of 30-minute bug fixes for 6.x LTS, for instace at http://dev.tiki.org/Tiki6 ? just in case some benevolent coders want to have a look and help improve the stable branch... the goal of this tikifest is to get started on the trackers revamp otherwise, it's unlikely we would be in boston ok, go ahead with that, lphuberdeau and all hi xavi a burglar in your apartment? or just in the block? hi jonnyb in my apartament. eeeek! did they take much? sorry to hear about that xavi was it spiderman? nope, they didn't take anything. I was just there... in the sofa with the dog, programing but they seem to have a key (probably a master key?, because we don't miss any of our limited number of keys) hmmm, sounds like all the locks need changing - expensive in a big place like that New Forum Posts: page is hidden in wiki link popup - http://tiki.org/tiki-view_forum_thread.php?forumId=4&comments_parentId=40764 yes, we are analyzing that (in process to do that, etc). Police already came some hours ago also (there must be some finger prints), etc. hopefully today we are changing the lock tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r33353 10/trunk/lib/setup/prefs.php: [FIX] cleaning: Remove non existent feature_experimental feature hello tikihouse are you around this afternoon? we are at the house, don't think we'll make it to RCC my son and I will drop by this afternoon to say hello hi sylvieg hello sylvieg: I started a section about (potentially 30 minute) short fixes for 6.x at https://dev.tiki.org/Tiki6#minute_fixes , as we talked yesterday i added a link to https://tiki.org/TikiFestBoston7 tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r33354 10/trunk/tiki-view_tracker.php: [MOD] Minor cleanup, no behavior changes tikiwiki: 03pkdille * r33356 10/trunk/ (2 files in 2 dirs): Coding style - no changes tikiwiki: 03gta74 * r33357 10/trunk/lang/de/language.php: [MOD] new file after running get_strings.php to go for 100 % translation til tiki 7 tikiwiki: 03jonnybradley * r33358 10/trunk/ (5 files in 4 dirs): [NEW] connect: New Tiki Connect (prefs only, real code to come) tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r33359 10/trunk/ (lib/trackers/trackerlib.php tiki-view_tracker.php): [MOD] First step in refactoring, creating a handler interface is branch tiki7 already created? for the moment, it's only moving code around, it should not affect behavior too much Aoutch Xavi ! One problem I saw is with depending fiield - like computed field - or like 'static' field like 'last modifier' yeah, will get to that a bit later so I have a field in tracker 1 that is used in tracker 2 as item list (like list of company for a product) - but performance reason - it can not be virtual - it should be hard coded somewhere (no way to do a sort on join..) will first move the easy cases out of the way, then figure out the harder ones the hardest ones fuck all the process for example I have a TRACKER with one field tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r33364 10/trunk/tiki-view_tracker_item.php: [MOD] Other batch of refactorings buit I have to collect the field like creator - modiferi - computer - and in other tracker itemlist... so one field need to have some action to other and not the opposite other depends on one fieild with all the noise, the hard cases are hard to understand but the hard cases are the resource consumer i agree with lphuberdeau - once we clear away some of the kruft the tricky stuff shouldn't look so tricky hard cases are field depending on other in the same tracker or not I agree with you - this point depends on resource - and a tikifest can handle it well, what's happening now certainly won't make that harder - and once we have less quintuplicated code we might be able to see what's going on :) +1
