Bernard: Luciash ?
LordVan: hi
coaboa: hi
LordVan: btw
i just was looking at tiki upgrade docs -> backup docs ..
http://doc.tiki.org/Backup has some phpmyadmin in a different language
looks like an european language (Spanish i think) to me
-: Bernard drink cold coffee is terrible !
LordVan: should prolly be replaces
Bernard: Hi LordVan
LordVan: Bernard, depends on the coffee ;)
hi
coaboa: @ summer I sometime drink coffee with crushed ice..
Bernard: The one on my desk was not meant to be cold 2 hours ago ! :D
LordVan: hehe
btw
if i upgrade from tiki 4.1 to 6.2 what will happen to image galleries? is there some way to automatically move images to a file gallery?
-: Bernard Tiki Wiki search plugin "keep coffee warm"…….. No results fallback to plugin "Make new coffee". ;)
LordVan: usb-mug-warmer? ;)
Bernard: LordVan : It will keep being in Image Gallery and it will work fine. I have the case. We talk several time about a script to move images from Image Gallery to File Gallery but...
LordVan: Bernard, yeah i know img gallery still in 6.2, but it depreciated
maybe i'll just move them manually .. not that many
Bernard: "and it will work fine" :)
LordVan: yeah still :)
we only talking about like 20 odd or so
***: daevermann has joined #tikiwiki
LordVan: btw what is a 'reasonable' amount of pics/MB to store in the DB vs Filesystem?
Bernard: Beah 20 it's cool (i have hundreds) and it work fine in db (better for backups). but beware, File Galley is NOT Image Gallery. There are slight difference for the display.
Lunch… couscous (promise for a very active afternoon ! :D ) cu
fabricius: Bernard: another way for making updates/backups easy ... like recommended storing files not in ./files, but in ../somefolderoutsidetikiroot ;-)

hu, i set the user modules with the following parameter: nobox=n
decorations=n
notitle=n
no effect
ok ok :D got it...
luciash: notitle=y
ok :)
-: ricks99 hates that some of tiki's options are backwards. Setting "y" to turn something off is counter-intuitive :(
luciash: it's the param name wrong - so setting it y is logical
ricks99: setting something to "yes" to turn something "off" doesn't seem logical to me. just saying. imho, should be: title=y|n
luciash: but i agree title=n&box=n would be better
Bernard: +1 +1 +1 :)
btw how do you set several parameters in user module (one text field) ? What is the separator ?
ricks99: &
Bernard: (of course :) )
if modifying the modules then "You can set several parameters by separate them with a &" :)
guys i'm stuck with the newsletter… i'm not sure if there is a bug or it is me.
I have articles (with topics/perms) and calendar i want to send artciles and event using a newsletter digest (automatic everyday).
BUT i have to set 4 kind of newsletter;
1/ Full
2/ No add (exclude 1 article topic)
3/ No add (exclude 1 article topic) no event (Exclude Calendar)
4/ Min only urgent message (only 2 article topics)
what is the best course of action ?
(while experiementing, as i check the "auto-clipping" and sent the newsletter page stay stuck "sending…")

chealer: hi RobertPlummer. is sheet working well in 7.x/trunk? I remember I couldn't use it during TikiFestBoston?

In the menu you mean?
chealer: RobertPlummer: yes, for SUM and others
***: rodrigo_sampaio has quit IRC (Quit: Leaving.)
RobertPlummer: Try ensuring that the formula editor has focus, then click on one.
There is still a bit of linkage needed there, Xavi helped change how a sheet gains focus, and that is one of the last items that needed help.
chealer: RobertPlummer: that doesn't seem to work, nothing happens if I click on SUM. the menu doesn't even disappear
