hm, I haven't tried a custom theme for a few months actually. It worked earlier.
after you select the custom theme you need to click "apply"
then an "open editor" button appear (and a new little icon on the quickadmin module)
should be fairly obvious from there (but still a bit "alpha" due to almost no testing)
yeah, I was thinking it would get refined in the 7.x upgrades, erc.

yes that's true, but most of tiki is in the database - you shouldn't need to use sql or anything to use them

ricks99, I haven't even seen that kind of feature/app for relatively simple html, that people were really happy with. With Tiki's complex pages, it'd be really difficult, I think.

well, that was the ultimate goal, but I think it was better to shoot for something that was more limited but works, rather than going for near-magic and it not working.

I'm not sure when it disappeared, and then the do-it-yourself register button got put on the tiki project sites in a not-so-pretty way.

that was me (the register button on t.o sites) -- needed a way to have REGISTERED in the default location, but direct all t.o sites to the community tiki-register.tpl

at themes.t.o, there is a theme parameter since the location varies between the Top and Topbar zones, but that's the only difference and shouldn't affect function.
well, at themes.t.o., there is also a search module in the Top zone for four themes, and it has Anonymous and Registered set.

doc.t.o does not use the new search feature as the index needs to be built first, mailed changi about it

well, most of the div tags are parsed and made into html ok, but the one indicated in the error isn't rendered as html, it's just missing.

Question:  Trackers (again) on 6.3 - If i apply a filter on a field (let's say it then shows 5 items.  I click on the "detail view" of the item.  It then brings up a list at the top showing item 1/5, with a forward button, etc.  If I click on any of these, it gives me "Error No Item Indicated".  Is this a bug, or have I set something wrong

luciash: ok, fyi with the changes to the preferences system is not working anymore for most of the preferences. when running get_strings.php from a browser it assumes that preferences names are in the database and from commnand line it assumes that preferences names are in lib/setup/prefs.php. both assumptions are wrong in trunk.
luciash: anyway, I'm in doubt if translating preference names is a good idea if it is only used in notification messages. for example, if you search for the localized version of a preference name, you will find it?
maybe not with the current system... do whatever you want if you feel it's causing trouble

there was a sequence of patches in october 09, making changes to the modules table where it was looking for rows that did not exist.
so in the installer when it asks you to check off the patches that failed - that does the same thing, create an entry in tiki_schema?

Any hints on getting ldap to work with tiki 5.x or 6.x?  I have tried both with the same results - Bind Successful in the logs and then all I get is Invalid Username and Password from the login screen
