Apparently it isn't possible to create a new directory in the tiki files and link to its contents from a wiki page? At least not when short urls is on. Tiki treats the directory name as a page name.
Well, it could also be a server issue for me.

I wonder how to get the "normal" history version comparison of a wiki page.
The page content is inside an HTML plugin, but i want to see where I added some div tags. None of the diff view options (even advanced) shows the actual html syntax, so is fairly useless.
Seems like the context of an HTML plugin should show as syntax, not as final display, in at least one of the diff options.

all categories are child categories (children of "top")

generally there's no "deny" mechanism in tiki perms, you can only "grant" permissions

That's what I've been seeing. In the original set up I had a button that said something like "group inherits permissions from" and a tick bocx. I am looking for a way to undo that.
the admin groups section does not have it.
when i edit a group in tiki-admingroups.php i see a list of groups titled: "Inherit permissions directly from following groups."

I have assigned the Mnu modules to their respective groups, yet all three are showing up in a regestered login. The Guest Menu is only showing up for anonymous users-good. but when a guest registers they get the guest menu, the registered menu, and the admin menu.. What am I missing?

i think there are two types in 6.x - it was all very messy
we are organizing better the in camps in squares in Barcelona and many other cities in Catalonia (at least) and I made a proposals of site with tiki6
with trackers to allow a decentralized way of aggregating proposals, and allowing the crowds (!) to vote on them.-...
but the voting doesn't seem to work (even if it worked, afair, in dev.t.o/tracker5 )
anyway... "mi gozo en un pozo" (as we use to say)

jonnyb, it works in Tiki7 (in dev.t.o at least, once set in Catalan also), so unluckily, it seems specific from tiki6, which means that there are high chances that no one dares about it... :-/

Hello, again.  I just discovered that not only are the registered users getting the admin menu, they are also getting the full admin permissions! I looked in the 'users' section and they are only in the default registered group yet have full admin prmissions.

about tiki 7 being rough, I think that was expected from the beginning, and that tiki 6 would be for most live sites.
of course the bugs that come up that aren't part of the new features or revamps are a bummer.
I was surprised to see a page appear in the menu that shouldn't have, according to the page's access permission, in a tiki 7 site.
I need to update the site and try again.
otoh, it's painful to work on site header things in tiki version older than 7 now.
