and it seems like it should be easy to create a new file gallery that points to a filesystem dir...but the Tiki GUI is not making it easy for me... :( CIA-88: tikiwiki: 03xavidp * r35051 10/branches/7.x/ (messu-compose.php templates/messu-compose.tpl):

Ichi-Keynon has joined #tikiwiki Ichi-Keynon: anyone know why i would get an error "You must specify a directory" when in the Admin File Galleries section trying to set and "move files from database to directory"?
-perms are good
-dir is "/tikiroot/img/mydir"
i have tried absolute and relative paths in all possible formats...still no luck lphuberdeau: permissions on the directory are good? Ichi-Keynon: yep....i opened it wide up just in case chealer: Ichi-Keynon: is Storage set to "Store in directory"? Ichi-Keynon: yes...i have to select that to get the "Path:" prompt chealer: Ichi-Keynon: which Tiki version do you use? Ichi-Keynon: newest i think
yep.... 7.0 chealer: Ichi-Keynon: did you try using a relative path? Ichi-Keynon: yes
i really just need to be able to have a File Gallery point to a directory so anything i upload will be indexed and visible in that gallery
but for some reason the GUI does not have this option from what i can see
and anything i upload with the GUI goes straight to the database...no fun ***: lphuberdeau has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 252 seconds)
