sylviegWhy this text {CODE()}<url>http://10.192.252.149/releases</url>{CODE} is completly modified when I saved it with the tiki editor?
sylvieg is lost between bugs and which syntax to use
[11:20]
jonnybhi sylvieg - sounds like sanitising strikes again?
chibaguy: why are <hr>'s set to be invisible in layout.css?
[11:30]
Bernard1hi all [11:33]
chibaguyjonnyb, invisible? I thought they were just defined as 1px high. [11:35]
jonnybno, border-width:0 seems to make them invisible (for me - not you?)
they do make a vertical gap of 1px, but it's transparent
(i meant transparent rather than invisible i guess)
[11:35]
chibaguyhm, there should be a default color set somewhere. Most theme stylesheets specify a color for hr.
(same as text I imagine)
ah, I see, no default color.
So in the skeleton theme, hr is not visible, eh? I thought it was using the default text color, but maybe that depends on the browser.

ricks99ricks99 wasnt even aware there was a new and refresh button in modules... [13:22]
Merbsterapparantly there is [13:22]
ricks99which module? [13:22]
Merbsterj
it's the .tpl file called module
in the /templates directory
[13:23]
ricks99that's just the base module template [13:24]
Merbsterwe have hired an external company to create us a company styled tiki wiki template
but they are having trouble with the new and refresh buttons on modules
[13:24]
ricks99i don't even see any REFRESH text in the module.tpl [13:25]
Merbsterme neither but it was the only place I could find something related to the modules in general [13:25]
ricks99NEW and REFRESH buttons are not part of the base tiki module.tpl. this is something custom that was added
by your external comany?
[13:25]
MerbsterHmmm
Our consultant installed the "debugging" template.
which has the buttons etc.
hmmm
damn it
[13:25]
ricks99is this a custom template that they created? I'm not aware of any base Tiki template called "debugging" look at themes.tiki.org for known templates [13:27]
Merbsterlol
ricks99 - I meant the theme we have been using for develppment so far :)
hence "debugging"
Where can I see which theme is active?
[13:27]
ricks99ok. it sounds like they customized your tiki intallation and theme for you
You select your theme from Admin: Look & Feel page
[13:28]
MerbsterWell this consultant of ours, found a template on the internet [13:28]
ricks99is your site public url that I can see? [13:29]
Merbstergive me a min. I will find out what template is installed and pray to god that you know something about it :P
we are using the theme called "Business"
[13:29]
chibaguyBusiness theme comes with the Tiki package.
But uses the default template files, nothing specific to the theme.
[13:30]
ricks991 sec... [13:33]
Merbsterok.
I figured out where it went wrong
the design agency, has added the new and refresh buttons themselves, I thought that was actually part of TikiWiki, since we required the template to be integrated with tikiwiki
But they want us to deliver the underlying functionality for those buttons... :S
*sigh*
Sorry for wasting your time guys.
Merbster huddles up in the corner and swears at outsourcing
btw. how come there are so few people here when the website boasts hundreds of tiki devs ?
[13:35]
ricks99depends on the time of day... [13:40]
Merbsterlots of US devs? [13:41]
ricks99lots of folks are online, but may not be monitoring [13:46]
Jyhem_laptopA dev is just someone who contributes code. They are not required to use IRC or the mailing-lists or the web forums. Some do all, some do none, most are in between. And all sleep. And most are not full-time. [13:46]
