Does anyone know why, in a svn-upped branch 7 installation, a javascript inside an HTML plugin would be getting sanitized ("sc<x>ript"). I want to find that sanitizer and rip its f*cking heart out.
Sorry, but it's at the end of a long trail: convert old Hi8 video to mp4, convert to flv, upload, try to play, log in as admin, find "sanitized" aka screwed up plugin syntax.
To me, sanitizer probably serves a useful purpose at somebody's site somewhere, but for me in most cases (one of only a few trusted editors usually involved) sanitizer is like the movie monster that you think is dead but rises again at the closing credits.
I can use "<script>" in wiki pages in some/most branch 7 sites so wonder where in the admin options the wooden stake can be found.
I don't remember having to explicitly kill sanitzer in branch 7 so wonder what the deal is at this particular site.
Um, actually I'm getting "sanitized" in my localhost branch 7 now. Crips.
Now that I think about it, the branch 7 site that I have <script> working in wiki pages hasn't been updated for a few months - I was afraid of something breaking.

Well, the good news is, if I turn on Allow HTML globally, and turn in off on the Properties tab of the specific wiki edit page, the <script> doesn't get sanitized. The bad news is the HTML displays as HTML syntax rather than being parsed.

If i put the plugin back in, the script seems to be intact (at the site where it was sanitized before). So this is a combination of Allow HMTL globally, Enable HTML off on the page properties tab, and HTML plugin.

OK, this is also interesting: right now when I approved the plugin, I noticed just as I clicked approve, that "<script>" is "<scr<x>ipt>" but the script is still working.

Yes, ricks99, I was just checking the page source. It is sanitized only in the plugin approve preview.
(In this instance. Earlier it really has been sanitized IIRC.)

well, the controller part is just the bit that handles all of the ajax requests
utilities were intially in the controller, but that class grew too large and those functions could be re-used elsewhere as well

yeah, all different purposes if you ask me
but it's really a direct consequence of not putting everything in the base .php file and inline in the tracker lib

Simsi, usually I do the normal installation, note down the SQL errors and fix only the reported errors manually.

i installed many other php progs like phpbb and there was no problem with allowcation

Call your webhost and ask if it's correct that you are not allowed to create indexes in your MySQL database.

I wonder what stands in the way of anonymous seeing a wiki page that has no object perms, is not categorized, and anonymous has global tiki_p_view perms. This is a tiki site upgraded from olde incrementally and is no branch 7 svn.
I've just installed tiki wiki and changed its theme from the default one. Now it's stuck at "Loading..." no matter which page I open. Can I reset it to the default theme without using its web interface?

one of the themes from the list, I don't remember its name exactly, it was the 10th or so
I selected it from the dropdown menu, hit apply, now it's stuck at a loading screen with a tiny animation
displaying "Loading..." and loading-light.gif
Nothing else on the whole screen.

It says, name: menu, cache: 0, rows: 10, id=42, groups: admins registered. But a registered user sees a truncated menu for some reason...

How is this done? i have the groups set to "automatically add pages edited by this user to the category", and i selected the cat which I want them to be added to, but when users in that group create pages, they remain uncategorized. is there something i am missing, or is this a bug? tiki 7 btw

that would be normal, the JQ plugin needs to handle the decoding itself

sorry, I missed your post, but i actually solved it. I did have it set as default, but you dont need to use that "set uncat items edited by user to category x" perm i mentioned earlier with a default group to get them to automatically categorize. I have "categorize structure pages together" and then tiki_p_modify_object_categories, tiki_p_add_object, and tiki_p_remove_object enabled as global permissions, and its now working fine.
