how can I compare two versions of a page in the history not the latest?
also why it's says TikiWiki 3.3 is the latest?

what i mean is that the window in the center; where the tracker displays, doesnt wrap the text in the center column

i figure it is a basic setting i have missed somewhere.  i think the term is wrap around or wiki paragraph formatting or something
go to Main Admin Menu>Look and Feel>Theme tab.  do you have fixed width checked?
PS - I'm on your site and the text seems to wrap fine for me.  I can see everything without having to use the bottom scroll bar.

sounds like you have some settings enabled for logged in users that aren't an issue when you're logged out.  
no big deal --- THANKS A LOT FOR TALKING TO ME --- this helped me a lot as i would've never realized the end user is seeing something different.  i will now have to go and check those out
i see an extra menu when i'm logged in, but when anonymous or non-admin users are logged in they don't see it.  it throws the symetry of my page off and drives me nuts, but i know i'm the only one that sees it.

i would start by looking at permissions by going to the menu on the left and looking for Permissions under Admin Menu.

and file galleries is used instead
we are using both, but has always been quite confusing
so I think it's a good idea to consolidate in one

des anyone know how I can so called "refresh th Perms in runtime? I have a bug I can't solve. Basically the user is adding himself to a group but then in the code his use tracker item is then categorized, but he still hasn't the perms  to do so at that point.

Tiki 7.1: I have a page that when logged out displays properly but does not when logged in.  What I mean is that (https://offgridops.org/foreclosurepedia/tiki-index.php?page=REO+Property+Inventory) when logged in the sentences are so long that they force a bar down below to view.  Is there a setting I am missing to correct this?  It is a tracker form BTW

Textpad. My problem was that PHP files were setup to use an "HTML profile", which trims trailing spaces. Caused a lot of changes in the diff report.

arildb: OK. I don't know Textpad, but some of us use Aptana, which is free software based on Eclipse. I hear others use PhpStorm, for which we would have a free licence.

which is why I'm stuck with Aptana 2. PhpStorm has to have it.

I may try out one of those. I am using Windows, and most of the programming I do is in C#/C++. I do miss a debugger in PHP

so is this kind of thing written in stone?  anywhere u would recommend me reading on how to be able to read the sentences while logged in?  reason being the only way one can enter data is to be logged in and i need folks to be aware of the situational information
