$ svn up
svn: Can't find a temporary directory: Internal error
chealer@vinci:/var/www/tiki/trunk$
seems like a server error
can anyone reproduce?
it somewhat worked on 7.x, but failed for most third_party external

chealer: luciash: hum. on trunk, right?
luciash: chealer: r, try svn clean
chealer: huuum
luciash: cleanup *seems* to have helped (the main update worked after), but I had this issue on 2 different checkouts on 2 tested (7.x and trunk)
some third_party externals are still failing
luciash: can you verify that your externals are all updating fine (no "Can't find a temporary directory: Internal error")?
luciash: my exts r still being fetched
chealer: and nothing bad just happened on this machine that I can see...
luciash: done. all went fine
verified ;)
chealer: luciash: does tikiwiki.svn.sourceforge.net resolve to 216.34.181.65?<
they seem to have 2 in the pool, 65 and 216.34.181.177

chealer: hi nkoth|nelson. please share, I'm done with categories
nkoth|nelson: chealer: i wil investigate first, basecally deep category filter from search not picking up items in sub category
chealer: nkoth|nelson: OK, that's likely related to my changes. thanks, I do expect there may be regressions in search and trackers.
***: arildb has joined #tikiwiki
nkoth|nelson: chealer, it's pretty easy to reproduce, just use tiki-searchindex.php, but I am not sure where to start to try and fix. Can you have a look at it?
jonnyb: well that''s highly odd - i was just debug stepping through wikiplugin_list.php, thinking it was all looking ok (although a little lost) and it worked! my .invert relation produced the results it should...
lphuberdeau: chealer, nkoth, it should all happen at indexing time: lib/core/Search/GlobalSource/CategorySource.php
chealer: nkoth|nelson: sorry, search isn't working here
nkoth|nelson: jonnyb: what I detected with favorite button anyway, is that the item is favorited but the favoriting widget shows it as not favorited.
jonnyb: maybe some sort of session weirdness? too much for me now, i'm calling it a day (really this time)
nkoth|nelson: sure, I thought you were gone already :)
jonnyb: am now - nn

sylvieg: lphuberdeau: stil trying to have zotero working - no result when searching a tag .. Do I need to set a callback? I see there is a callback in the ajax call...
***: arildb_ is now known as arildb
lphuberdeau: do you have tags on the items in your library6
***: arildb has quit IRC (Quit: Leaving)
sylvieg: i put tag in the lib of my group

lphuberdeau: authentication worked?
sylvieg: yes - thx you gave the clue groupid instead of group name
lphuberdeau: did you try zoterolist?
sylvieg: no will do
thx
lphuberdeau: because once authentication is done and the permissions are assigned on their side, everything should just work
***: xavi has left
sylvieg: zoterolist gives me nothing... I am pretty sure that my zotero setiing is wrong ..
lphuberdeau: during the authentication, did you grant rights on the group?
I think the default is only public information

sylvieg: ok :-) thx lph
I put my group public and it is working now
so there is something is the auth - that does not work with private
-: sylvieg happy - locahost working with zotero now
lphuberdeau: it works with private, my group is private, but you need to grant rights for it
sylvieg: aha - in zotero? do i have to see tiki is allowed?
I thought I did that
***: qwe135 has quit IRC (Quit: bye)
lphuberdeau: you need to allow tiki on the specific group
for read access only
sylvieg: I thought I did that - but I will recheck

nkoth|nelson: is there a new way to set onlly certain wikiplugin parameters that need admin validation?
-: sylvieg thinks nelson is ready to spend his WE to program the feature
nkoth|nelson: :q
i thought I saw something like that lol
sylvieg: it is not a difficult dev..
-: sylvieg likes ubuntu .. recently change from fedora to ubuntu - it is peaceful
lphuberdeau: you can declare parameters as safe, which will not cause the signature to vary
sylvieg: but you have to change the php code for that?
lphuberdeau: plugin definition
nkoth|nelson: btw, would you consider wikiplugin parameters for redirecting the user to another url unsafe?
lphuberdeau: redirect on load? yes
nkoth|nelson: sort of after an action is taken
lphuberdeau: with user intervention?
sylvieg: but it is exactly what nelson will do during his WE - an interface to plugin definition
;-)
nkoth|nelson: actually setting the flag in the php code is fine by declaring certain parameters as safe
the example I am thinking of is that the user clicks on "Join group" and then after he is added to the group , he is redirected to another page. other plugins are similarly like that, e.g. plugin tracker, after saving the tracker he is redirected elsewhere
if only we have time to go through all plugin and mark each parameter as safe or not
btw, lphuberdeau , i just rebuilt my search index and tracker items are not showing in search for my registered user now (it shows for admin)
lphuberdeau: that was not affected at all by the changes I made
only one change to change the scope from global to object on tracker visibility, which was a mistake based on the code
(visibility was always taken globally for open items)
nkoth|nelson: well, i don't have individual tracker perms set and registered has global view perms and the items are open status
let me try again.
for sure the problem is there, the question is why
maybe the user needs list_trackers?
***: arildb has quit IRC (Quit: Leaving)
nkoth|nelson: no luck
changing that local back to global has no effect...
lphuberdeau, where are the permissions indexed into the search?
I've gotten as far as 'parent_view_permission' => $typeFactory->identifier('tiki_p_view_trackers'), in TrackerItemSource.php
ok i found PermissionSource.php
