polom markdoe: I'm finding tiki 8 (so far) doesn't necessarily work in server configurations that tiki 7 is ok with. For custom modules to work at a hosted domain, in Tiki 7 I need a php.ini modification to enable the eval function. But this php.ini causes the install loop in Tiki 8. I don't yet know of a fix for custom modules to work in Tiki 8 when the hosting company doesn't enable eval. The fixes for Tiki 7 don't work in Tiki 8. The hosting co. people aren't Smarty or Tiki experts so can't help, it seems. bbl Goodmorning polom marclaporte, It's weird having you in my timezone now :P hi Merbster and marclaporte hey chibaguy :) far from your timezone, but apparently close to your work cycle ;-) chibaguy, isn't marc in germany atm? :P for tikifest yes, I think so. I meant that I am far. ah :P lol sorry chibaguy :-) chibaguy, I know it's one of the asian countries, but not exactly sure which one japan tikiwiki: 03jean-lucnavarro * r38379 10/trunk/lang/fr/language.php: [TRA] some French translations :-) chibaguy, ooh. Is this a known problem in branch 8? I mean a change in the behavior of {wikiplugin} in .tpl files, from 7 to 8. chibaguy, if it's used in a wikipage maybe the permission to use HTML on that page is needed? it's not in a wiki page. it's part of the tpl (smarty template) file. is this a result (possibly) of moving from smarty 2 to 3? I suspect so. It drives me crazy when I make a change in a .tpl file and no amount of cache flushing or browser restarting will show the new file being used, like Tiki could go on for a week using file versions that no longer exist. OTOH the other day I made a simple syntax error editing a wiki page and it caused a system error 'check db connection, repair tables, etc.'. :-| :-) well, for now I'm hiding the exposed html syntax with a css rule. (the site is being used.) lp ? yes? i have changed font on http://www.shocksite.com is that better ? getting connection timeout arf… exact i'm on my way to the data center ! O:-) cu tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r38382 10/branches/8.x/templates/table.tpl: [FIX] Use the resultset parameter on pagination in the table template to correctly display the result count. tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r38383 10/branches/8.x/ (lib/prefs/search.php templates/admin/include_search.tpl): [KIL] Preferences from the old tiki search were brought back to life zombie prefs! luciash: do you know what js function needs calling to hide the columns? tikiwiki: 03lphuberdeau * r38385 10/trunk/lib/tiki-js.js: [ENH] Use more jquery to reduce the function length and split the function to have re-usable components I have an issue when a user tries to register to the wiki. I have it configured to require validation from the admin. when i do this, the link says "incorrect password". am i missing a step? When i check the logs after attempting to log in as the new registered user, the password that i set durring the registration process also seems incorrect. Tiki logs show a successfull bind, and no error messages are reflecting bad credentials do we have a tiki.org site on tiki8 already? themes.t.o thx marc - not working too in tiki7 what the deep search is suppose to do? http://doc.tiki.org/tiki-searchindex.php?filter~content=pretty&filter~type=wiki+page&filter~categories=+9+&filter~tags=&filter~language= find only ((pretty tracker)) good but with the deep search\http://doc.tiki.org/tiki-searchindex.php?filter~content=pretty&filter~type=wiki+page&filter~categories=+1+&filter~deep=on&filter~tags=&filter~language= find pages that are not categorized ... humm perhaps I am wrong - seems to work on doc.tiki seems my local is broken - working as expected on themes - sorry ... ahah got it .. you can not type the category name - but have to use the lokup category tikiwiki: 03robertplummer * r38388 10/trunk/tiki-timesheet.php: [FIX] For modal ref
