Is it possible to set permissions in a way, that users can only create private trackers, non visible by other users?
I have a website in mind, where people can create a certain sort of diary with personal information of a certain theme, where it would be possible that non-tecchies cannot accidentially make those datas public
but maybe possible to make it accessible (for ex. read only) to a person or a group (for ex. their lawyer/attorney)

Help. I am a newb admin, and my site keeps disappearing completely. The only solution so far is to delete lock.php and local.php and "update" the version to 7.1 (even though it is already that) using the install.php functions. this restores my site with all pages intact. What is wrong?

yes, totally blank, without even error messages. This has happend twice since I started the site a couple weeks ago, seems to happen when I do not work on the site on consecutive days 
jmdumais, we call it "WSOD" as in "White Screen Of Death". it indicates something bad happens with your tiki, you can in fact lock yourself out if you misconfigure parts of tiki
OK, where do I start to resolve this? I have hardly done any configuration, mostly just added wiki pages.
And why doesn't this happen when I am working several days in a row on the site, but then goes bad after a couple days of inactivity?

I have a little data in there but not a lot, i'm still in the learning stage...but if you know of an easier way, I'm all ears
u can clear your cookies (close your browser and re-open it) or go to tiki-admin_modules.php > Assigned Modules > Left, edit the menu one and add "y" to the "Flip" input field on the Appearance tab to get the flip=y param back there
then you should have back the toggle (aka flip) icon next to the module "menu" title
and "expand" it by clicking on it again
ok I have the toggle back and come to think of it,  that's when I lost the menu when i clicked on the toggle....is it possible that the toggle colapses but doesn't re-exapnd it?
if you leave it collapsed and disable the toggle it stays collapsed and comes to the expanded state after a while when you finish your browsing session or come to the site later
can you see the menu now ?

ok, last thing, check on the Basic tab if you have some cache time there you can try Clear Cache button above and also check if you have the Group Registered selected
but I think that's what i originally clicked to make it dissapear

can't find the basic tab and I have tried the reset several times with no change also cleared the cache several times
luciash I thank you very much for your time and patience, but I think it might be easier to start all over....it's a good learning experience
besides I rather start over now than in a week from now when I have lots of real data in the database

it wasn't there
well I re-ran the tiki-install.php and told it to delete the database and now everything is back 
and the expand, colapse toggle is now working
fine :)
