At a moment some prefs data seems to come from nowhere, they become good during one week then change again after a curious message about wrong database . So it is impossible after on this site to login, site which displays an old temp version. I change the soft to make tracks.
Then I found the wrong data. I try now to find from where and how are coming the wrong data.
I clear the caches (all), try to change one of concerned value (only text) in others databases... Checked 1000Go for a determining string... nothing...
Do somebody met one day such problem, have an idea to find another way to search the error ?
Sorry for the length it is to avoid not useful exchanges. (I spent already on this more than 100 hours...) lphuberdeau: there are 3 places where preference values can reside: the tiki_preferences table, cache and session data
session data can be at different places depending on configurations ***: Loll1978 has quit IRC (Ping timeout: 265 seconds)

don-guest has left Trebly: <lphuberdeau> Thanks, I agree, everything test or cleared. The wrong data (a part with determinant text) can be found on the disk only into the cache of very old versions (5.3) which site name have been incremented and changed in Apache and new dir and db created. The lonely possibility that I check now should be that (as I have 3 to 5 versions of same site) the cache of another site is red...
...(lonely place where the data displayed are on the whole disk of the applications). I have changes the concerned text data (into the 'feature_custom_center_column_header' in all db versions with a N° to identify it. Now I save the whole data before erasing old caches (one by one) to understand how this (the lonely imaginable solution ?) happens. Don't find and read the right site dir and...
...get a bad cache...
I don't found records into sessions table (before it was terrible, increasing the size of DB to lock) I could not check it with 8.1 and my work of last week lphuberdeau: typically, sessions will be stored on disk
clearing cookies in the broswers would force to have a new session started Trebly: <lphuberdeau>Thanks, I will look at. The critical data are not the determinant that I check, they are simply linked. The critical are user, cookie, style etc... much more difficult to check. I imagine (because of years... old), that somewhere because of the length of names, dirnames are not well sorted and found so the cache data are red in a wrong place. When the error had occurred it is...
...repeated because of session data. This will explain that during 15 days I stayed locked, one week ago everything became right, without noticed reason, I worked one week, then a message appears in main admin concerning "classical" db update, It was curious, I saved the db, ran the update, and could not go back to a good situation for the last two days. I give you these complements, even...
