I've tracked down a regression in 8x related to image tracker fields, which seems to be related to the resizing of images at upload time (when size of image is bigger than the maximum image size allowed by tracker field definition)
I recall that it might have been you who added that nice feature with images in tracker fields
or maybe I'm wrong.... (?)
no, don't think it was me, don't think i've used it even
anyway, that was in case you knew the logic for that tracker  field type for images...
ok, forget it then (don't want to bother you while you are with that huge tracker thing...)
i've done quite a bit on tracker images since 6.x tho
i don't remember converting that bit of code...
... you'll notice on 8x that if you see max image size to 1000, for instance, and you upload an image of 1200 pixels wide, for instance, it might fail as it has been failing for many of us using that tracker field

there's a param called uploadLimitScale but it doesn't seem to be used

yes, it worked well in 7x also, like in 6x
in 8x, I need to remove that param for images to upload successfully (even if not resized)
ok, found it - line 201 of Image.php
it uses an imagegals function, so maybe that broke in 8 for some reason

no one using dynamic items list in 8x?
xavi: i have ItemLink and ItemsList fields working in trunk, so should be ok in 8.x
jonnyb: they work well for me also in 8x
